DDog managed to get hold of and eat three of my migraine pills. Vet doesn't seem too optimistic but has said she'll do everything she can. I won't know anything until tomorrow morning but please please, if you're reading this, send positive thoughts our way, I know he's only a dog but he's a part of my family.

That's great news :). No idea how he managed to eat the tablets voluntarily, , my dog is on antibiotics and in Truly struggling to get him to swallow them. The irony!!

just read your update, I'm so pleased to hear he's on the mend.

Great news. Keep up the good work peanut. Hope he has a restful night and is allowed home in time for the weekend. .

He really eats anything and everything, he takes his worming tablets on their own no trouble.

It took us a while to figure out what he'd eaten as we're very careful with dangerous products for both DCs and DDog (no raisins in the compost for example).

The only thing I could think of at first was the anti-mosquito tablets we plug in as they're at floor height. Then DH found the destroyed pill packet under the sofa.

The pills had been in my handbag (I have to have them with me all the time) and we think 4yo DD was rooting through my bag in the afternoon (she says she wasn't, but she's 4 and knows she's not supposed to) and must have left the box on the floor. The first thing that crossed my mind was what if DD had swallowed them. I shall be far far more careful in future.

As for the breed, he's a mongrel! There's some Yorkshire terrier and some Chihuahua and something else rat

Beau and Mojo are thrilled to hear that he is doing so well and want to know if he is up for a play fight
