DDog managed to get hold of and eat three of my migraine pills. Vet doesn't seem too optimistic but has said she'll do everything she can. I won't know anything until tomorrow morning but please please, if you're reading this, send positive thoughts our way, I know he's only a dog but he's a part of my family.

So pleased to hear he is home. Lots of love and cuddles should set him on the path to a full recovery.

He's developed a heart murmur which he definitely didn't have before. The vet said it should be ok, just to keep an eye on him when we go out for energetic walks. He doesn't need to go back until September for his jabs, at which point they'll check his heart again.

Other than that he's fine, running round the sitting room, rolling round on the rug an sticking his bum in my face. Business as usual really!

What wonderful news, I am so pleased for you. I have a mad chewer of a puppy and so I know how easy it is for them to pick up something dangerous.

So glad he's on the mend, I nearly cried when I read your OP. My lad is one now and an utter bastard for eating things he shouldn't it worries the life out of me. I would be bereft if anything happened to him.

DDog is now snoring contentedly in his crate. I'm looking forward to watching tv tonight with him snuggled up on my knee.
