DDog managed to get hold of and eat three of my migraine pills. Vet doesn't seem too optimistic but has said she'll do everything she can. I won't know anything until tomorrow morning but please please, if you're reading this, send positive thoughts our way, I know he's only a dog but he's a part of my family. Sad

Yay!

QueenofLouisiana · 19/06/2014 18:36

Yay!! I haven't even managed a cup of tea this evening as I wanted to see how your gorgeous boy was doing.

Here's a photo of my recovering girl- 5 weeks ago she couldn't do more than lie propped up on a wall. She is in a cage on strict advice from the vet- in case you wondered!

Here's to a steady recovery to both our dogs.Wine

Oh such good news! Only just found the thread and read through with bated breath. DCat broke her jaw last year and we were originally told she might have to have part of her face amputated HmmHmm. In the end she was fixed up by an amazing specialist but it was such a terrible few days on tenterhooks. Much loved pets are never 'just' anything - except just bloody gorgeous!

All fingers and paws crossed chez woozle for peanut pup!!!

Good news so far. Benji's favourite thing to eat is his own bogies! Hope Peanut dog has a swift recovery to full health.

Great to read that he's improved so much. You know why that is, don't you? He's heard about being described as "just" a dog and is planning on showing you just how indespensible he really isWink Grin

What lovely news!

Is that a picture of how he is now or an older one?

He is gorgeous.

Please give him a cuddle from us. ?

Oh Peanut, that's amazing! He's a lucky dog and he's obviously very much loved.

I don't have a dog, or even a disdainful cat, to send a picture of, but have some Cake and Thanks instead.

Cocolepew · 20/06/2014 16:57

CalamityKate1 · 20/06/2014 17:09

So glad to hear he's ok! He's adorable!

Had to smile at your DH being pleased to see him, despite calling him names; sadly we had our old girl PTS last week and DH (who isn't keen on dogs and never wanted a dog and certainly didn't want two dogs) cried like a baby in the vets and still keeps shaking his head sadly and saying "It just doesn't seem right without her here :( "

hmc · 20/06/2014 17:10

He's looking really well Smile
