Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Ooo a bacon sandwich sounds good after a little dip in the pool?
Have you thought about a hot tub in the garden? I think it would be a nice addition? The kitten bees would enjoy the steam above it!!

@alienslove the hot tub is at the edge of the pool, it even has a slide into the pool.

Still hot so at the risk of being boring the buffet continues, Fernando has set up a BBQ with a range of sausages and Florence is making pancakes.

Good morning all, it is cooler here too and very overcast I think we are in for more rain .

Please can I have a bacon buttie and a coffee for breakfast and with the wizardry of the HPC a freshly bbq'ed burger on a seeded bun for lunch .

Morning. Well it is still warm but also wet so I've set up the umbrellas.

This morning I'm making Futali and Zitumbuwa from Malawi. know not everyone will be tasting them so Florence is making croissants, the coffee pot is on and the tea is mashing.

No idea what those are, but game to try them!

Please may I have a pot of decaf coffee, I've already had my one caffeine for the day and some kitten milk for the cat, in her special milk bowl, she's decided on the white one today.

Well I see the sweet potato and fritters went down well.

Lets head for Zambia, porridge with peanuts, Samp and fried sweet potatoes.

There is still the buffet for anyone wanting something more European.

@DeathWinsAGolfish kitty milk is no problem, please keep her away from the kittenbees, they are not to be hunted.

The Bumblecats, well that's a different story they give as good as they get.

A hot tub and a slide Into the pool!! We really are being spoilt now 🥳
I think I'll have a croissant with jam and then a slide into the pool to cool off! I'm very sticky tonight!!!

Wait for me, please, @alienslove ..it's hot and humid here, too. I'd really enjoy a swim in the pool

Sorry for the late start.

It's a little cooler so Fernando has closed the ice bar and set up a bar in the pool.

I'm going to keep things simple with the buffet and some scrambled eggs, Florence has made sourdough to be toasted with it.

So it's still hot here so I'm just going to make smoothies and fruit juices, Fernando can add alcohol of choice to them and Florence is making crepes with a choice of fillings

I haven't had a crepe for years , there use to be a well know pancake house near me that did wonderful ones and hot chocolate that was almost thick enough to stand a teaspoon up in.

So to relive them memories please can I have 4 rolled crepes , one of each strawberries, peaches, honey & Greek yoghurt and black forest fruit. And a hot chocolate please

@Sweetpea1532 , I must admit I could eat 6 of there crepes in on sitting , they were only small andI am greedy almost see through and about 6 inches across with about 3 tablespoons of fruit in each.
Their pancakes were much thicker and bigger .
You could get loads of sweet stuff like chocolate &banana, jam , peanut butter, marshmallows. Or savoury like breakfast mix ( full English chopped up really small ) sour cream and chicken, and lord knows what else .
They also had fresh made sweet waffles and knickerbockers.

You could put on weight just by walking past and smelling the food 😆.
