Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Ooh I'd love a virgin sex on the beach if Fernando could rustle me one up?
I'll be by the window.

I will have anything please, porridge and a cocktail? Sign me up!

Congee is an asian rice porridge, burgoo is a type of oatmeal porridge with fat added in the form of butter or dripping.

Congratulations, do you normally have Bakewell tart for breakfast? I'll get Florence on to that while I hand out hot drinks and Fernando delivers the cocktails.

@sashh not always, Saturday morning was a healthy serving of Vienetta, other mornings it's been a cherry pie and custard, or apple crumble pie and custard. Usually I abstain from food before 1pm, but every now and then I do like to live in the fast lane and enjoy a 'continental' breakfast.

I have a 9 month old who needs snuggling if anyone would like?? I'm desperate for a slice of toast and a cuppa!

I could murder a full English - the works, including black pudding, hash browns and beans please. Do you do iced coffee? I've never had one but they look really nice.

I'd love to see the kitten bees - do they live in a hive made of yarn?

Who has heard the word 'Jaffle'?

That's what I'm making today. They are actually just toasties but in Australia the manufacturer of the toastie maker is called Jaffle and I think it is too good a word word to not use.

As it is Valentines day Fernando has bucks fizz at the ready.

I’m so glad I found a cafe that’s open! I’ve been awake since midnight after going asleep at 10. In a hotel room with daughter 6 (sleeping like and angel), other daughter 2 (who is the reason for 12 o clock wake and has only in the last 15 mins gone asleep beside me - how silly of me to think I’d get to enjoy a nights sleep in a big hotel bed! - and hubby is snoring so loudly as usual but can’t even send him to a spare room!! So I’ll have a herbal tea and some toast please if it’s going!

One herbal tea and I can supply a virtual spare room to send DH to.
