Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Back earlier tonight, I'll take that squishy beanbag in the corner please looks comfy.

I see some people are making themselves at home, that's lovely to see.

I'll fire up the plancher for traditional English Breakfast.

Packed lunch today is bento boxes.

I've put the outside heating on with some fairy lights if anyone wants to visit the garden.

The ice has completely melted so there is now a water feature ideal for small children to splash in. Help yourselves to waterproofs and wellies.

Are you sure you want Earl Grav, I have chamomile and other infusions that might be more calming?

Hello @violetcuriosity meet DD who is currently learning to make pain au chocolat in the kitchen. She was my sunroof baby. CS babies are clearly fantastic in every way. As are their mothers.

Yes please to the Earl Grey, I find that a bit of caffeine actually helps atm!

If I know my daughter, she's covered in flour, the kitchen is destroyed, her mouth is dripping with 'extra' chocolate but the pain au chocolat is the best you've ever tasted.

Lovely to call in again, almond croissant today please and maybe green tea. And did I hear a rumour there may be croissant making lessons and/or demonstrations at some point? Also, loving the fairy lights.

Hello, this place looks lovely. I think I want to sit by the fire while simultaneously being close to the snowdrops if that can be managed. I suspect I am enjoying the delights of peri-menopause and it's ability to cause insomnia as 3 a.m. seems to be my bodies awake time. Can I order a crispy bacon sandwich and Swiss hot chocolate please?

Florence is teaching pain au chocolate at the moment but I'm sure she'll teach croissant making.
