I am so excited I am literally sitting here bouncing after watching the 2nd trailer

It's OK I know I'm sad, especially as I really want the "Gene says relax" T-Shirt

OP posts:

There are so many strands for them to clear up: The Yeats refs, the numbers 6-6-20.
I also think its a real shame that they let the sexual chemistry die off this series and have only just picked up on it again.

bondgirl77 · 14/05/2010 22:15

So what happened there with Chris hearing Nelson's voice? (sorry lurker but I can't resist now) It seems significant that Luigi suddenly announces he can go home to Italy. Is Nelson a bartender from the future, who owns the patch where Luigi's bar stands in the early 80s, and they had a bit of a bleed into a different time zone?

Also you know that bit in the titles where she is in Piccadiily Circus looking shocked, is that from an earlier series of A2A? My memory is utterly terrible... did she already go back to the future?

PictureThis · 14/05/2010 22:15

shaz said she thought it was 1953 in their heads (Ray and Chris)

MrsKitty · 14/05/2010 22:15

Cannot believe that kiss was interrupted. Bloody Keats.

Anyone else think there might be significance in the lyrics of 'True' which played when they were dancing? "I bought a ticket to the world, But now I've come back again"

True

Clydesdale · 14/05/2010 22:16

ok - screenshots

Last exit - well spotted honeymum - here

Figure tapping on glass is here

Car for next week is here

MrsKitty · 14/05/2010 22:17

DH got the "Ssssoul" when Chris was on the bench. We were watching on a slight time delay on the harddisk recorder so I made him rewind it!

Suziewee · 14/05/2010 22:17

How am I going to wait another week - I want to know the answer but don't want it to be over -aaaah!! And just to be really shallow, will they ever shag?!

PictureThis · 14/05/2010 22:17

I still think the copper in the old fashioned uniform has a gunshot wound and not a burn. there is a gun involved in next weeks episode because you can hear it being 'cocked' on alex. Do you think they are related?

PictureThis · 14/05/2010 22:19

That figure tapping on the window is definitely Sam Tyler

Ffrecklefface · 14/05/2010 22:19

Bloke thrilled at frustrating end to dancing...

He now knows he's getting some later.

And I am SO excited about next week!

brogan2 · 14/05/2010 22:21

I def think luigi's is leaving cause he's 'done his bit' if that makes sense.

His job was to help them remember the bar???
Haven't all those visions been in his resturant?

Yep, also think the 1953 in your heads is significant-I think that brought on the stars.

Chris hadn't seen or heard anything until he redeemed himself.

glittery · 14/05/2010 22:21

in the screen shot of Sam it says below NEXT TIME... so thats why we had to watch out for that!

brogan2 · 14/05/2010 22:22

I agree with gunshot wound too.

draggedthroughahedgebackwards · 14/05/2010 22:26

I did spot Shaz's t-shirt but last exit could also refer to the flames at Viv's funeral?

brogan2 · 14/05/2010 22:27

Maybe it has gone Dr Who since JS became the Master!

Tillyboo · 14/05/2010 22:32

Possibly Significant ???

Keats sat at desk manically typing up his report did you notice the two bar fire behind him ?

He's always got his coat on - always cold ? Missing the heat of hell ????

Clydesdale · 14/05/2010 22:38

car is not the one used in LoM - that had a vynal type roof

Clydesdale · 14/05/2010 22:39

Chris recogised what Nelson said - Its all you can do.

quote below is from LoM
Sam Tyler: Large whiskey please.
Nelson: [With heavy Jamaican accent] Drink ain't gonna fix things. What am I saying? I run a pub. Of course it will fix things!
Sam Tyler: I'm lost, Nelson. I'm really lost.
Nelson: [Suddenly switching to a Mancunian accent] You ain't lost, pal. You're where you are, and you have to make the best of it. It's all you can do.
[Sam looks surprised]
Nelson: Keep it to yourself, eh? Folks just seem happier with the other Nelson.

AnyFuleKno · 14/05/2010 22:42

YESSS! Brogan I am sure that you've got it - Keats is trying to get dirt on them all and send them to hell - that's why it's so important that they redeem themselves, then they see the stars!

Figure tapping on glass defo Sam Tyler.

BelleDameSansMerci · 14/05/2010 22:44

DD didn't go to sleep until 9:30 and bloody Sky+ wasn't set!!! Fortunately, had left Sky running as thought would only be a couple of minutes but thamk heavens for iPlayer as I still missed first 10 mins or so.

Really, really confused now...

AnyFuleKno · 14/05/2010 22:45

Clydesdale, didn't chris say that he heard nelson say 'what you havin'?'

Clydesdale · 14/05/2010 22:46

see 09.36 here

Clydesdale · 14/05/2010 22:48

you are right - it was what u havin? where did i get that other one from? was convinced it was in prog............

Honneybunny · 14/05/2010 22:57

not sure if anyone mentioned this, but what about the vision/flash that ray has in the bar during one of the last scenes...
i think there was just a fragment of bowie's "life on mars". could this be one of the music clues?
have been following this with interest, though just been lurking.
dh thinks i have gone nuts but am just bursting with excitement till next week...

Drusilla · 14/05/2010 22:57

I thought it was "all that you have"?
