I don't know, but I felt quite sorry for her having to stand next to the teeny tiny and stunning Rachel whatshername ... anyone would feel a bouncer next to her.

Ooops ... I meant 'feel like a bouncer standing next to her' ... Can't see properly as have a streaming cold and very watery eyes.

NB. R&N were very good but for some reason they just left me cold, whereas Team Cola had me biting my fingernails with excitement and anticipation - am delighted they won!

Team Cola were fun to watch, R&N while techincally brillant had no personality and just didn't do it for me.

Massive shame that Ricky and Natalie didn't win imo, I actually think Cola are sweet but not sure if that should be enough.

Oh and btw londonone I think sadly you have a point.

londonone - WTF is your problem? It's an entertainment show, Chris and Ola were the most entertaining.

what a shame that people didn't warm to Natalie. I cna remember these threads over the years and remarks about Lisa snowdon/Kelly Brook/Karen Hardy/Rachel Stevens.

I liked all of the contestants and their partners.

Team Cola really pulled it out of the bag tonight. I was impressed with their show dance. Ricky was really good and like Len said, he really was the best dancer but I enjoyed watching Chris and Ola.

I've had to listen to DH rant about "it makes a mockery of a dance competition"

chris has won. myself i thought ricky would easily win it, just goes to show how the public vote.

i am glad chris won because he kept saying how much ola wanted the trophy and he danced his heart out for her, whereas there was no connection with ricky and natalie in that way.

ricky was the better dancer but clearly the public went for the entertainment factor.... shows take note if it is down to the public we have turned a corner and no longer vote for the real reason but what pleases us most, either the under dog, the entertainer etc etc, times have changed, or rather the public have changed so do no be surprised by the winner not being who it should be but who is more entertaining.

does the phone voting money go to charity?

No it used to go to charity but it hasn't done for a few years now.

I thought it all went to Children In Need, may be wrong though.

Ricky was the better dance but Chris Hollis had personality. Even my 6yr old was jumping up and down at the end, screaming for Team Cola to win. As my dh says, can't see CH being on breakfast news much longer.......... I would have rather watched Tom Chambers dance than Lisa but then I think Camilla kind of fell out with the bods at SCD so it was never going to happen.

Think it used to be linked to Sport Relief.

However on the Strictly website it says that none of it goes to chairty but equall they make no money from the phone line voting either - accrdance with some policy they have.

Chris was definitely the peoples fave & seems such a shame Ricky probably the best dancer ever on SCD and didnt win.

Tell me about it aris. Watching ITT lots of the pro's were obviously blown away by how good Ricky was.

Hopefully he'll get to do something with his newly discovered talent - though after hearing him sing carols on ITT it can't be a musical! He needs something with dancing and acting but no singing...

I thought Chris looked smug all the way through, I don't get this about Nathalie looking smug at all - are women just jealous of other women who are very good looking and very good at what they do and not apologetic for it?

I didn't get the Natalie hate either. She seemed lovely. Omg though I am jealous of her figure - whatever I do I will never have legs like that .

Agree with ArisHOHOHOcat that even though I really liked Chris and Ola and am not that put out that they won, Ricky really was the best dancer that SCD has seen and seems a shame he didn't win.

Also not sure why everyone hated Natalie - she seemed nice enough and I thought the two of them had good chemistry... in the minority though!

Over the four dances tonight Ricky won two - ballroom and showdance and Chris won two - lindyhop and latin. You can argue about their relative skills but that dead heat in 'classes' won is really interesting I think. They both did well. If the public like Chris and Ola better, well that is our prerogative

I liked team cola but my god how sexy was Ricky's dancing - he was by far the better dancer and should have won.

He also improved but did have more natural talent.

I do think that Ricky's arrest earlier in the series won't have done him any favours with the public - certainly to hear my FIL talk you'd think he was a thug.

Its as Len said last week the british public love an underdog. But hey I still think that Colin Jackson should have beat that cricketer whose name I can't remember way back . . .

Were was Leila ( if she had another commitment she couldn't have expected to make the final), Phil apparently had flu. Was it me or did Rachel Steven's dress look as if she was wearing black knickers under neath, or maybe it was vpl!!!
