I'm really pleased with the final. Ali was lovely and I love Brian but too boring and although their AT was technically really good it just didn't sizzle.

When vere Chris and Ola dance I smile as you can feel their passion and energy.

I actually like Natalie. She is very competitive though and I don't like her little wink to the camera the whole time (give it a rest love). Her boby is A-MAZ-ING as CRH would say.
Ricky is a dick, he says comment sometimes and you can almost see Natalie cringing and nudging him when he says silly things. Is he a nit thick?? He is lovely to look at though and I enjoy their dances.

I guess I am Team Cola but I do appreciate Ricky and Nat for their dancing. Both prof ladies come up with great dances so it should be interesting to see what they do for their show dances.

I think Jade might have won if she hadn't gone out injured.

Ola is lovely but Chris doesn't deserve to win he is not as good as Ricky and wasn't as good as Ali either. I guess it is the John Sergent factor kicking in. Either that or Ola's costumes and the men voting for them!

I like the two finalists. Ali and Brian were uninspiring and therefore, I think, it's not devastating that they are not in the final. And although Chris is not the best dancer, he puts a lot of effort in and their partnership is just great. I don't think it's the John Sargent effect. John Sargent was really rubbish and didn't improve. Chris and Ola are not really rubbish and he has improved as the competition has gone on. I have really warmed to Ola this year. Chris seems to bring out the best in her. Can't wait to see their show dance!

I, too, wish Jade hadn't got injured, I'm sure they would have made the final.

There has not been a stand out couple this year. Apart from Darcy's jive, there is not another dance I would want to see again unlike Rachel and Vincent's rumba or Alesha and Matt's cha-cha-cha. But I am enjoying it all none the less!

I'd love to see Cola's Charleston again and am really looking forward to them doing the Lindyhop, seen it lots on DWTS and it'll suit them down to the ground.

My standout dance of all time on SCD though is Brendan and Lisa doing the AT. Fab-U-LOUS!

Another vote for Cola's Charleston, I think that and Jade and Ian's Jive are the only dances that have stood out for me this series.

Standout SCD dances - there are so many! But Karen and Mark's AT, Alesha's cha cha and Tom and Camilla's foxtrot would all be contenders!

Have missed most of this season as it straddles right across bedtime but I'm personally happy with the finalists. I always thought Ali and Brian were a tad dull and agree with the 'we're lovers' when it suited them!

I have a friend who knows Ricky W really well and apparently he's a bit of a filthbag - not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing . He is so pretty though and am really looking forward to his show dance (lots of chest, I hope! Mind you, his shirt gets more and more open each appearance on ITT!)

Anyways - roll on Saturday. Does anyone know what time it's on.. might have to keep DD up so I can actually see it

Ricky to win. I don't get the Team Cola thing. I don't dislike them but I don't get why everyone likes them so much. And Ricky's just such an amazing dancer (not to mention being rather easy on the eye...). I think it should have been Ricky and Ali in the final.

I think you only get the Team Cola thing if you watch ITT and watch the clips of their rehearsals etc. If I watched just the Saturday night programme then I wouldn't get it either.

If Jade was still in it then I'd want her and Ian to win - no matter how much Team Cola make me laugh. With them out of it then I don't really mind but Team Cola are far more entertaining ... so I guess it's whether you are voting for what makes you watch the programme or who's the better dancer.

Oh ... and on the subject of Standout dance of all time (and for absolutely all the WRONG reasons) - Brendan and Lisa's showdance ... I'm not sure I have EVER cringed so much in my life, it was the biggest choreographical error made in the history of the programme IMO.

True. I haven't watched any of ITT so maybe that's why I don't get it.

Don't mind Cola (and did love their charleston) but Ricky is just the better dancer by a country mile and it'd be a travesty if Chris won for being a bit funny/cute.

Dances of the series - loved Ricky's foxtrot, ooh and their American smooth. Liked Jade's jive and Natalie and Vincent's too.

Ali was very blah for me, and didn't really think she deserved her full houses.

I watch ITT obsessively (I think I actually like it more than the main Saturday night show ) but I still don't get team Cola. The fact that they call themselves team Cola and have a catchphrase and t-shirts printed up is frankly quite irritating!

I think Natalie's an amazing dancer and she looks like she's got a pretty steely, determined glint in her eye too. I was saying to DP at the weekend (as he yawned and pretended to be listening) that obviously all the pro girls are good but some stand out as being that little bit better. I'd say that Natalie, Erin and Flavia are better than some of the others.

Apparently Natalie's a bit of an expert at Lindyhop and it's her fave dance so that should stand them in good stead for the final.

IMHO the reason that ALi & Brian didn't go thru was the unnecessary tongue sandwich SNOG at the end of the US Smooth which made a little bit of sick come up the back of my throat.

And also why were Natalie and Ian doing ANOTHER number each - aren't there enough professionals hanging about for the season to end so they can go on tour to do this??

I can't stand Ricky and Natalie, they have been scored very generously throughout the whole series and they are just so dull to watch, there is no chemistry whatsoever.

Now MattBellamysMuse, if we wanted a proper dancing competition, it wouldn't be Strictly Come Dancing, they'd bring back the old fashioned Come Dancing and they'd all be good dancers only. This is an entertainment show and quite frankly, Team Cola might not be as good at dancing, but are far more entertaining. So deserve to win.

It is an entertainment show but the point is that week by week the worst dancer, the weakest link if you like, gets eliminated, leaving only the best at the end.
No-one should win for being cute.

Saw Chris on tele this morning and he seemed a bit apologetic for going through (said something about the public voting being beyond his control) - it's true - it's down to votes and there is sometimes something a bit perverse in how Jill Public votes.

See, even he thinks he shouldn't be in the final.
