Have just watched The Breakfast Club. I had remembered it as a real feel good teen film but it has made me cry. Judd Nelson's character is so so . It's so different looking at it from the perspective of a parent!

Monstermomi · 23/10/2009 20:38

I also loved River Phoenix but he was a bit later than the brat pack.

am going to watch Breakfast Club now after this thread.

loved Pretty In Pink too.

bruffin · 23/10/2009 20:39

It was a good film, may show it to the dcs soon. Always wondered what happened to Judd Nelson, he was so good in The BC, looking on imdb he still seems quite busy
Did anyone see Anthony Micheal Hall in the Deadzone series. He grew up quite nicely

Hassled · 23/10/2009 20:40

I saw St Elmo's Fire 3 times at the cinema alone . I wanted to be Demi Moore too.

mrmump · 23/10/2009 20:40

Stand by me. Anyone else? River was a beautiful boy in that, such a moving film.

southeastastra · 23/10/2009 20:44

anthony michael hall he looks so different! nice though

glitterkitty · 23/10/2009 20:44

I watched teen wolf 14 times (matinee £1 only 3pm dead empty cinema)cant think why.

Also ghostbusters multiple wiewings- and had a massive crush on bill murray - he was so witty...

I still want to be demi moore actually- and I will take her toyboy (cant think of name) off her hands too

FlameHasAnotherChick · 23/10/2009 20:44

yup to river and stand by me (am 28 so was that bit young for proper brat pack - caught up when i was 17 ). Him disappearing at the end made me sob after he died....
