anyone else watching to see the vile pig legitimate political leader make an arse of himself himself understood??

but he was made a victim the other night. really poor show of the QT producers to change the format, absolutely idiotic and handed him more publicity on a plate.

Talking to my sister about QT and she said that while watching she felt some sympathy for Dick Griffin. She then went on the BNP web site and was absolutely horrified by what she read.
My sister is an intelligent girl, she holds a masters degree in Environmental health (or something like that). However she knows almost nothing about politics.

So my point is that if she can feel like that and have some sympathy for the BNP, until she researches their policies. What hope has the less intelligent, less media savvy man on the street got to make an informed decision about them?????

electra, that's almost exactly what my mother & stepdad has said.
I pointed her in the direction of youtube in the hope that along with the political spin they want people to see, she sees the other side of the coin as well.
The really messed up thing about this whole situation is my stepdad is a Greek who grew up in Turkey, who came here in the 60's-70's. His daughter is married to a black man and I am married to a catholic.

I thought the programme was brilliant in showing how the BNP really are. No screaming from the audience, instead there was a sensible debate with points made very articulately (sp?) With one exception - Griffin himself who mumbled and bumbled and couldn't or didn't make any justification for anything.

With over one million voters (which is scary in itself) it was important for QT to include him. All that crap about "ice age" Britons, I mean really.
