Just caught up with the episode - can't believe they got rid of B&B - from rest of the week to being chucked out. Ok they didn't turn up at the farmers mkt but look what the Nigerian pair did (not) do!! Why not give them a 2nd chance.

Would hav egot rid of Nigerian rest as no good. Wham boys, maybe the concept is good (!!!) but he deffo can't cook.

How can you finds out before the series is on when there are restaurants opening??

Front room wife is a bit weird though. Keeps gagging every time she has to try a 'different' food. Plus they look exactly like each other. Not that has anything to do with running a restaurant...

Hilarious episode - real car crash tv stuff. Tea room stuff was just awful - although to be fair if it was real wouldn't they get more staff to help them - maybe they didn't think to ask! As for the cakes for the special guests - the 'aeroplane' looked like a giant gingerbread man with slight stiffy - before covering with icing and after not much better!! DW & I couldn't stop laughing. There are no real contenders this series - remember to last when a few could have made it through. I'd get rid of them all none of them will make it in the real world. Just pure entertainment now.

The 'plane cake was just superb telly!! I was cringing with the poor bloke - bless him, he did try Highlight of the series!!

omg - I wouldn't risk money on any of them . tbh this one isn't a patch on previoud series, no real drama, passion or sense of competition. They seem to get away with so much - poor food, poor service, lack of management and basic cooking skills.

god what a cock JJ is..... he makes me want to scratch my eyes out.
How can he be kept in the competition when he has another chef doing all of the work for him and when he buys cakes ready made???

I reaally like the front room couple although that cake was hilrious!!! They should have just baked a normal cake and made a plane out of marzipan taking off.... what they did was far too ambitious considering they have no experiance.

i really do hope the picnic guys dont win...... i dont even get their concept but i fear that RB has $$ in his eyes and is going to let theem get through.

I love the husband and wife though..... i think they should win.

I live in bristol so it is interesting to see all the places that I see everyday..... I have even seen a few people I know on it. A girl I went to school with was waitressing in the cheeky pig. and i saw a lady from my church in the tea room episode. Im jealous.

must admit the staandard of cooking is quite poor this year though.

SexyDomesticatedDad that's exactly what I said to DH about the plane cake! And not a very slight stiffy either. Hilarious.
My question is though - how can you take eight British people and ask them to do afternoon tea, and end up with such bizarre food? Why didn't they all do some nice sandwiches, and a big batch of scones and cupcakes? I felt so sorry for those poor people sweltering in the hall with no tea and nothing to eat. Sausage rolls and Nando's custard tarts?? WTF???

I think it's the worst series of almost anything ever.

I am really enjoying this series but surely the only couple that deserves to win are Rebecca and Steve.

Can't stand the boys and was gutted RW didn't bin 1 couple off last week.
