Poor B&B

Vinomum · 19/11/2009 20:25

That silly blonde boy can't cook. Send them home Raymond!!!

megcleary · 19/11/2009 20:25

Maybe he'll get a second wind!!

megcleary · 19/11/2009 20:26

B & B I mean

chocolaterabbit · 19/11/2009 20:27

I agree. Poor things when they were the ones who seemed to actually be able to cook, run a restaurant and organise themselves a bit...

I loathe the wham boys. At least the twats last year could cook brilliantly...

Vinomum · 19/11/2009 20:27

I think Badger's a bit creepy anyway.

Vinomum · 19/11/2009 20:29

Oh bless. You were right Megcleary!

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 20:31

We had rabbit as children ~ tastes like chicken but has loads of tiny bones in it

Would never eat it now though

Botbot · 19/11/2009 20:34

Bodger and Badger are a bit sinister-looking imo. Like they could turn at any minute.

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 20:43

WHAM should be gone

duckyfuzz · 19/11/2009 20:49

how rude

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 20:57

B&B

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 20:58

WHAM 2 GO PLEASE RB

Feelingoptimistic · 19/11/2009 20:59

I think Badger should have been given a second chance !

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 21:00

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS I really like them

MissWooWoo · 20/11/2009 11:38

so far so Front Room I say. BUT, I cannot believe that he sent her out to dig potatoes up, in her white trousers!!! what a lazy git! swanning indeed!

poor old badger

Tryingtobeorganisedthisyear · 20/11/2009 12:37

Front room are the only ones that can win it now. Rags to Riches can cook but the front of house lad is a bloody nightmare...so unless he ups his game.

Wham are useless....but did you hear the comment about how thier concept had huge highstreet appeal winners so they can use thier idea for a chain??

The nigerian idea sounded great but they don;t seem to be any good.

A disappointing selection of contestants this year!

Was gutted B&B went

RTKangaMummy · 20/11/2009 12:42

I really really like the idea of the nigerean restauant

But I think it will be the front room cos I think they are keen to learn and also can be moulded into what RB wants

The bloke who is rude to customers is dreadful ~ he really doen't know how to talk to them ~ but the other bloke is a good chef

WHAM must go cos they are going to get too cocky if left in

MissWooWoo · 20/11/2009 12:50

"well I guess we won't be seeing you again" Rags says .... NO! but you will be seeing my toe up your arse sometime soon says customer

Tryingtobeorganisedthisyear · 20/11/2009 12:52

Am really disappointed with the series so far. Was sorry to see last couple leave as they were obviously talented. Can't really warm to any of the remaining contestants. Dd and I watch it now for the lovely Sarah and her gloriously swishy hair

wildfig · 21/11/2009 17:35

OK, I've been thinking about this. (I know: sad.)

This year, they're not looking for fine dining, or great chefs, or amazing front of house. They're looking for a high street chain IDEA. Something Sarah Whatsit can shove out onto a Bristol high street, and then - theoretically - roll out further. So actually, fey idiots though they are, Wham are in a good position, since their concept is at least easily summarisable - "Yuppie picnics!" I reckon that's why Raymond is biting his tongue and keeping them in, despite JJ's actual inability to cook. Well, that and the clear televisual gold of listening to their godawful excuses as to what exactly they're doing each week.

Either the producers have introduced the 'high street' theme belatedly, or none of the couples have grasped the bigger picture. What else can you see working as a chain? Nigerian cooking? Possibly. Classic English comfort food? Yes. I bet they'll try to steer Front Room into a more 'school dinners' theme. I can't even remember what the rest of them were meant to be, it's been such a weak selection. Shame, because under the right sort of guidance, the posh girls' 'locally sourced' idea might have worked, but just not in the sort of numbers Sarah Bombay-Bicycle-Club would want.

now if one couple had tried a classic US diner - all-day breakfasts, pancakes, fried eggs and bacon on a hot plate, bottomless coffee, cherry pie... Nom nom nom. I'd have been on for that.
