Think Tuffers will be hysterical though.

Alesha - it's not working for me. I was fully prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt but no no no no no!
All she can add is a few "Ooh I know how you feel"'s and "you look lovely"'s

Joe practiced at the studio where my daughter has lessons. He had a hissy fit cos some 8 yo were spoiling his concentration after seeing that performance i am not surprised

I quite liked the athlete's frock (Jade?). It was quite retro-meringue but suited her figure. I thought she was going to be great until she started dancing, she has no rhythm and I was wondering why none of judges commented on it.

I though Lynda Bellingham did quite well (I'm sympathetic as an over-weight middle-aged woman myself). She was in time with the music and her feet matched Darren's, plus she coped well with her dress being caught on one foot for quite a while. She doesn't look right with Darren though, she needs to be dancing with someone taller (like Anton perhaps). And I really wish he wouldn't put his arm around her waist and jiggle her, it's not a good look to have ripples going through the boobs.

Ali has a lovely bendy spine, I wonder if she'll be a bit wet for the more dynamic dances though.

I really enjoyed it!
I thought most of the dances were fairly poor but, FFS, it's the first week!
The dresses were stunning, according to my DM (the views of the afore mentioned parent are not necessarily those of the registered poster )

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show

I wish Arlene was back too. I quite like Alysha but she doesn't exactly have much experience of ballroom does she? She doesn't really contribute anything constructive IMO.

I hate Alesha, she is the equivalent of a bucket of cold sick for me - and usually love Bruno, but was like he was on speed tonight! Bring back Arlene and Karen - I liked it the way it waaaassssss

Hi mm22bys, how are you all doing? I should go on Facebook more often to keep up to date with you, but only remember every 6 weeks or so. It's great here, DS has stopped thumping DD and they actually even play together now and then. DD has a little sister a few months old, so depending on how things work out with the birth family I may be the mother of 3 within the next year.

I'll investigate alternate means of watching for you.

I give it three weeks before Arlene is brought back in a blaze of controversy/publicity for the show... Alesha saying "I want you to give me more x, y or z" was laughable.

Thought that group dance at the end was hilariously bad. Maybe they are all going to be really bad this year.
