I know I shouldn't watch this but I probably will. Can't beleive Kelly Brook is going to be one of the presenters - I thought she was all Hollywood now. And I thought Jayne Middlemiss was way too cool to be involved in something like this too.

Interesting....I did catch the "after show" where the host interviewed Calum. Clearly there was something going on between him and Abi when the show started, and then his romance with Rebecca developed and they were all over each other. But, he was very dismissive and critical of both of them. Suspect he's one of those blokes who likes to chase, but then loses interest when the girl gives in. Quite fickle, I think.

Glad Jayne and Fran are having fun in the love shack. Is there a chance for romance, or are they just good mates? Going by his previous girlfriends (at least the ones in the public eye), Jayne is certainly not his type!

JoolsToo · 15/06/2005 10:21

personally I don't think Fran fancies Jayne and still don't think Abi really fancies Lee either.

Yup Calum is as bad as Paul (well almost - no-one is that bad!)

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 10:30

How can Abi not fancy Lee when she was with the dreadful, and IMO, completely unattractive John Leslie for so long?? Don't get that one at all....

Think it's interesting that Paul and Calum are so full on when they're lust driven, and then don't feel a shred of remorse when the girls are upset that they're being ignored! In fact, Paul and Calum just seem irritated with the girls!

Paul is a control freak....and when pished he gets quite scary..run ladies run...

Gobbledigook · 15/06/2005 10:40

Agree with sobernow. But how sappy are these women to let him talk to them and treat them like that??? I'd have told him where to go looooooong ago!

noddyholder · 15/06/2005 10:40

paul is an alcoholic I think and I think he is very sinister Probably on his best behaviour for tv so god knows what he is like normally Isabella is as thick as they come and I agree that fran doesn't fancy jane but may have his eye on the prize money as will Abi

robin3 · 15/06/2005 10:41

Totally agree Sobernow....Paul is a disaster waiting to happen. Reckon he will be in and out of the tabloids for the next year.
How is it possible for Isabella to be so naive and so rubbish at general knowledge?

Gobbledigook · 15/06/2005 10:42

OMG the general knowledge was embarrassing.

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 10:47

I think that Paul is unstable to the point where a psychiatrist would probably be able to make an official diagnosis! He's immature, charismatic, attention seeking, repulsive, entertaining, manipulative, confused, emotionally abusive - in short, socially pathological!

He's the last person I'd want to get close to in there because he literally cannot be trusted! And he seems completely oblivious to how inconsistent he is, and doesn't take any responsibility for the pain he inflicts/havoc he wreaks!

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 10:54

Paul makes Darren Day look like a good longterm relationship prospect!

Gobbledigook · 15/06/2005 10:58

LOL! You're right!

turquoise · 15/06/2005 12:11

I agree about Paul, he is self-absorbed to the point that he is literally completely unaware of anyone else's feelings. Plus he is SO immature - his reaction to gentle constructive advice from Liz was quite extraordinary last night. Scary psychopathic little creep!
I don't understand how any of the others haven't just ripped into him.

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 14:02

What gentle advice did Liz give Paul, and how did he react?

Eowyn · 15/06/2005 14:08

Liz told Paul that Nikki was crying, that all, & he ranted on about how upset he was...
So glad I'm not the only one who thinks Paul is completely psycho, can't believe he gets away with it, exactly the same as when he was so evil to isabella on the boat & then came back & said how much she'd hurt him. I hope he's ostracised by the entire universe when he gets out.

turquoise · 15/06/2005 14:10

She just told him that Nikki was in floods in the bathroom, "in case he wasn't aware" (!) and tentatively suggested he might be a little more considerate - and he did his usual ranting, swearing, refusing to listen and storming off with comments like "F*ck off what about me, I'm upset too you know" etc etc. With accompanying sulky toddler faces.

Fimbo · 15/06/2005 14:11

Does anyone think Rebecca Loos is pretty?

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 14:13

Well, well....this situation with Paul is quite fascinating in a bizarre way. I'm one of those people that tends to think everything is my fault. So, it's riveting/horrifying to watch someone who thinks nothing is his fault!!

turquoise · 15/06/2005 14:16

I would love to see a follow up programme on when they come out - they're going to be SO mortified!
Rebecca's grown on me, I think she's quite sweet. Dodgy upper lip, bit of a BOBFOC.

Earlybird · 15/06/2005 14:19

I think Rebecca has a lovely figure, has a wonderful dark tan, and has good hair. Her face isn't conventionally pretty, but she's definitely an attractive woman.

Tommy · 15/06/2005 17:21

agree with all the comments about Paul - I think he could be dangerous - can't believe how he treats women and can't believe they keep going back for more
