She certainly showed some guts by coming back on and performing (whether or not she was coached or whatever), but surely the judges/her mother should have seen sense and stopped her going through to the final. It shouldn't matter how brave she was being, it's still (surely?) not in her interests to go through. Pah, am all jaded and cynical about the whole thing now, feel they've totally done it for publicity, because she clearly isn't the best person to potentially be performing at royal variety.
