and it's so fun to watch someone so detached from reality having such a swell time.

She was going to cry at that stained glass she did wasn't she?Hilarious

TwoIfBySea · 23/04/2009 20:42

It is while watching shows like this that I realise my life is completely removed from how others live!

Having said that when I was in school I loved screenprinting, it is very satisfying!

expatinscotland · 23/04/2009 20:45

The inside of Anouska's house looks like a brothel.

< sticks neck out >

I like this programme and I quite like Kirsty.

although she's better with Phil- he keeps her in check.

We all need a little, 'Removed from reality', to cheer us up when the bad times come.

Dumbledoresgirl · 23/04/2009 20:49

What were all those silly little laboratory bottles about? All I could think was "dust traps".

Dumbledoresgirl · 23/04/2009 20:52

Dear God she is like a child with a dolls' house.

torch · 23/04/2009 20:54

I love Kirstie but I have to say that I think her taste in interiors is awful. I mean, wtf was that 'wow' thing on her kitchen wall last week? Completely naff. And that stained glass thing looks like something my 5 year old would bring home from school.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/04/2009 20:54

Lol at the brothel. I thought it was hideous.

JackBauer · 23/04/2009 20:55

Christ that wallpaper is hideous

expatinscotland · 23/04/2009 20:56

Oh, it's so naff it's genius!

Just like her wardrobe.

It's pure Kirstie.

Hideous hideous hideous, every single bathroom. That wallpaper is simply vomitous.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/04/2009 20:56

(((vom))))

Country Life magazine aswell?

JackBauer · 23/04/2009 20:57

I do love the main bathroom though.

Although DD's would have it destroyed in about 30 seconds.

Dumbledoresgirl · 23/04/2009 20:57

I wonder who does the dusting and cleaning in her house. Not her certainly.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/04/2009 20:59

It's 60s chic. Not my taste. Play room next week. Hmmm. Too much time on her hands. She can come and decorate my house if she wants.

JackBauer · 23/04/2009 20:59

I've never understood chairs in a bathroom. I mena, you are either on teh loo or in teh bath or over the sink. Who sits in a chair?

JackBauer · 23/04/2009 20:59

sorry, typing atrocious tonight.

torch · 23/04/2009 21:00

her new house is all about tat. everything she has 'homemade' is crap

Dumbledoresgirl · 23/04/2009 21:00

I have a laundry box in my bathroom and I sit on it and MN on my laptop while ds3 has a shower/bath

JackBauer · 23/04/2009 21:03

Oh yes, bathtime for kids. But not a lovely low chaise surely?!

Dumbledoresgirl · 23/04/2009 21:03

I have a similar style house to the one Kirstie is doing up and, having done some building work on it, our house is now ready for decorating (hence my interest in the programme). But I can honestly say I won't be adopting a single tip from today's programme.

noddyholder · 23/04/2009 21:04

I loved the big bath but the rest of it although i 'get' the look
was quite badly put together

littlelamb · 23/04/2009 21:12

I am sooo going to go to the reclamation place she got her bath from. Have googled it and it's just a few miles away. And we got thrown out of Burgh Island hotel when we were teeny when we went in for lunch on my mums birthday and halfway through they decided that children weren't actually welcome We were on our best behaviour too

nametaken · 23/04/2009 21:34

that wallpaper is gorgeous, I want some.

fishie · 23/04/2009 21:37

i don't understand her house (i missed last week). who is going to live in it?

and very worryingly i can do all the things she did tonight.
