Who fans might recognize the doctor as Maria Jackson's dad from The Srah-Jane Adventures. He was also in Survivors recently.

Well, that was WAY better than last week, and the twist with Ray was a stroke of genius on the part of the writers.

Definitely a vast improvement from last week (not that I was complaining too loudly about last week's episode....after all, PG was in it.....what more do I need? ).

Some very interesting statements made. There was also a princess reference on the side of the box of stuff from the car. Can't remember exact words but it was thinly veiled reference to the Di connection too.

Did anyone clock the belts sticking out of car doors last week? Gene drove off and left the belt of his trench sticking out. Super Mac also did the same thing. Probably nothing but there was a definite close up on it in both scenes.......I love all this clue hunting

Yes, I wondered why the hell the camera was lingering on the belts. PLEASE don't let that be a hint that Gene is going to top himself! Or could it be heroin?

And it definitely pointed us to the box of stuff from the car - forgotten what the label said but 'A Princess' was part of it. (My friend's dad was a mason who drove an Austen Princess, as it happens. But he was quite happy to poke fun at himself while ironing his pinnies.)

Oh, it really is the filthiest thing I've ever written, though - written before I imposed the 'cock rule' on myself (that is - I now try harder not to use the more obvious sex word markers, like cock, etc. because I think it makes me try a lot harder to be sexy in the writing.)

Be warned. I love the dialogue in it still, but I'd so give it a serious re-write.
