Anyone else excited about this starting up soon?

I'm guessing that The Oceanic 6 are going to go back to the island.

Sorry, to join this thread so late in the day, but I only just found it.

I LOVE LOST and have a friend to THANK for getting me hooked as during my pregnancy I watched all the episodes while I was on bed-rest as I didn't actually see it when it was aired on television. My daughter turned two recently, so this was awhile ago.

I have read the whole of this thread. I did see up until the end of Season 4, but haven't seen any of Season 5. Can't wait to catch up!!!

Just watched the latest episode ('This Place Is Death') I won't spoil it, but it's really good, much better than last week. It's so nice for the story to be moving on every week at last, rather than just question after question, like previous series!

Minnie, Jin isn't in a different time as Locke said anyone speak french, they were just further up the beach

Did you notice how anytime the survivors are in trouble the time change happens,

(Stop stamping feet Merrylegs, I'm nearly convinced)

Are you sure Plum coz didn't the french girl introduce herself as Rousseau? The baby she is carrying is Ben's "daughter" whose name I can't remember now.

Yeap it was rousseau, Jin just washed up further away from Locke,
Locke etc were on a different part of the beach with some of the wreckage of Rousseau's boat, thtas why the stuff was french

Remember Daniel was in the boat when the island moved but they moved with it, so the whole time Jin has been floating on the wreckage from the other boat and moving with the island, does that make sense, because it does in my head but I have the cold

I think it was when Rousseau turned up at the end of last episode that I thought oh well, anything could happen now. There's no framework anymore.

Loving the Miles as Dharma baby idea though.

buuuuut... if they are all in the same time zone, which is approx 20yrs ago, then why was Vincent's lead on the beach? And the camp there? Or is that someone else's camp and someone else's dog?

Otherwise the Jin floating in the time loop bit makes sense to me too.

No there was another time change and the cannoe thing they were in went with them, cause I thought it was going to dissappear and leave them in the water

yes, duh, remembered that as I was falling asleep last night!!

Still doesn't explain where Rose, Bernard etc. got to - they left them on the beach and they should have 'flashed' back when Sawyer etc. did too surely??

One of my friends has a theory about the last episode. Without wanting to spoil too much, listen out for the recording of the Numbers that the French people are listening to, and see if you think the voice is familiar.

Episode 5 is on Sky tonight, we download it as soon as it's shown in the US (on Wednesday nights) so we can watch it on Thursdays. I'm too impatient to wait until Sunday!

Think it's Hurley reading the numbers but might be wrong.
Also don't thinks that Charlotte meant Sun when she was saying don't bring her back to the Island. Think she was meaning Eloise (Faraday's spooky mum).

That was a great episode. I really can't wait for next week. I love Lost.

Oh no Oh no - was the numbers being read tonight? Think I must have missed that bit as I was saying goodnight to the kids (half term treat, all sleeping in same room, even though I was super-quick "Yeah yeah kids goodnightwhatevergottago I'M. MISSING. LOST!!!")

So who is reading them?

Still waiting to see how Jin got from the island to delivering a teddy bear to his bosses new baby - any one remember that from last season?

And Jacob is Jack's father, right?
