Oh yeah, hadn't thought of that. It's just Desmond saw her in London and she was Engligh. Maybe she can time travel down in that church cellar

I remembered the old lady but not the neo/neil bloke who got killed. Has he been in it before or was he just a new character brought in to kill off?

i found it all very confusing. how come daniel kept saying that they can't change the future but then changed it himself by banging on the door of the hatch and speaking to desmond? am glad after 3 seasons of the story moving so slowly it's picking up pace but fear it's becoming overly complicated now.

Thank goodness I finally found the Lost fans on MN (I was looking in the wrong places d'uh!). Sawyer has got a bit flabby but I think that is because he's happily married and from red carpet interviews I've seen I suspect he is a bit of a lush. The older lady at the end was....wait for it..........the lady from the jewellers when Desmond went to buy Penny the engagement ring...remember the guy in the red shoes who died under the wall collapse? She said there was nothing that could be done to change his fate?

Sorry - just caught up and realised you all knew the lady from the jewellers. I'll curb my enthusiasm! I have been waiting so long for Lost to come round I was like a kid before Christmas on Sunday night. Me and my neice kept pausing it to get to grips with it all the complications. I watched the Sky 1 programme before it where they were on the set of Lost and all the regulars had Dharma boilersuits on.. intriguing. My only worry is the Matthew Fox looked continually pissed off - there were rumours he wanted to leave Lost because of being sick of being located on Hawaii with his family and away from his folks back wherever. I think he's been paid shed loads to stay on 'til the end.

SO - the girl with the gun who took Daniel Faraday to the bomb - that has to be his mother right? (Because he said 'you remind me of someone'). And then Charles Widmore was also there (a 50 year younger version). SO i'm guessing Widmore is actually Daniel's father? (Does Penny know she has a brother? Maybe not?)

And that's all I can figure out!

But the girl being his mum could be didn't think of that

I think Daniel is going to be Charlotte's dad. In the last season she said that she was looking for where she was born.

Yes but in last week's double bill when Charlotte had the headache she said "I was thinking of my mum but I couldn't remember her first name" (or something like that) suggesting she knows her mum really well (and hence her origins) and was confused as to why she had forgotten something like that.

So. What?... Daniel and girlfriend-in-a-coma travel back in time, 'do it' and then she is pregnant and Charlotte is the result? Hmm, all a bit Benjamin Button if you ask me.

I am going to stick with my Mr and Mrs Widmore theory (and the ex Mrs Widmore turns out to be white haired old jewelry lady of course).

After all, why is Widmore Daniel's benefactor if not that he is the daddy?.

Ooh yes, could be the reason...
must say am a bit disappointed that Daniel seems set to be a major player in the story. His whispering voice and furrowed brow are REALLY irritating me. ( Widmore says his mum's in LA and that's where white haired lady is, so must be the same?.)
