been watching this couple of weeks, i like andy, would love to taste his meal

God that was unbearable!

I wanted Chris (sweaty Chris) to stay, but am pretty glad that Matt (mr Smiley) and Christopher (young mr Smiley)are in.Andy (dull andy) is just a bit dull.

Dh's comment about the critics, was, 'here come the wankers'. For people that get to eat pretty good food for a living, they are a miserable bunch, Kate Spicer, has bitterness etched on to her face.

'Right up my strada' has already become an overused phrase in our house!

I love the critics, think they are marvellous.

And I do think they try to be positive about the cooks.

Never liked Kate Spicer after I read an article she wrote about wanting to treat her Mum to a posh holiday after a difficult year and despite her Mum saying she didnt want to do India or a spa - she took her Mum to a spa in India! Her Mum put up with it for a few days and then (quite rightly!) buggered off on her own to a posh hotel on the coast! Kate admitted it was selfish of her cos thats the holiday she wanted instead of her Mum!

Looking forward to the cooking next week - and to seeing yummy Christopher running round in army combats!

i like kate s on masterchef, haven't read any of her reviews that i can remember. they did eat a lot of the food, where do they put it all?

that kate spicer looks like she is permanently eating matt the smiling wolf's lime tart.......MIL just said that the first critic looked like he ate the 98% of kate s's meals once she'd tasted hers......., amused by mil comment!

the critics got such a miserable face arent they they got face like if they got shit under their nose, althought they offered the best food. imagine them eating hotdog, bacon butty at fayre`s and etc...

Not sure you to back now. I think Matt/Ming looks like a lovely guy but think it could be Smug Andy who clinches it. Christopher v sweet but still don't think his food is as complicated as the others'.

Ming now rechristened mini-Ming up our strada, as we realised he is the shortest of them in a street walking shot. things did turn out differently to how i expected last night.

shame chris just coudn't keep his cool. pleased for christopher pulling it back up into play.

Don't want Christopher to win. Think he is out of his depth skills-wise and variety wise. Andy is like a Royal but I do think his food looks and seems the tastiest and he seems to be the most skilled

What qualifications do you need to be a food critic? JT actually seemed a bit nervous when speaking to them. Madness how these pompous bloaters have so much influence. Much prefer it when they cook for the chefs who are alwways polite. Anyone can be a critic, takes skill to be a chef. Kate Spicer has had quite a lot of work now hasn't she after that programme where she was "researching" it.

She seemed disappointed when she said she could't be really mean about anyone this year! She is def NOT up my strada!
