Hello again!!

Ventured onto the BBC site to read the SCD boards and I have been shocked at the outpourings. Accusations of vote rigging, bitching about the other celebrities and all sorts . I just watched Matt and Flavia's American Smooth and Colin and Erin's on Youtube and they were both better than Austen's, so I think he did deserve the marks. They weren't even bad marks, just everyone else did so well also. I definitely think he was the right choice to go.

Ladies, just in case you don't know. Next week (13th) the man show and results show are both on on Saturday night.

Not so much of a man show now that Tom is the only male celebrity left .

Tess did look pregnant, very slim still but a definite pregnancy bulge. i thought she just looked like she'd had too much wine when she kept commenting on Austin so either too much pregnancy hormones or not pregnant.
I just find it so boring now and Arlene is seriously p*ssing me off with her shouting. Virtually every comment was gushing and its just not interesting.
Yay for Brian and Kristina, Vincent and Flavia are amazing.
I am also getting annoyed at the constant 9's and 10's because surely they should mark a professional at 10 then everyone else as a comparison mark.
I have to say that i am now rooting for Lisa to win and have warmed to Tom a lot more.
Rachel is just too perfect for me to like i hate to admit.

Seriously, don't most women have a rounded tummy Maybe it's just me and all of my female friends and family! I think Tess looks great and v slim.

So isn't there going to be a show on Sunday then? Do you know what time the Saturday show is HoHo?

I think they deliberately undermarked Austin to ensure a male and female for the final. They know that Tom gets the most votes so difficult to engineer him out so Austin was sacrificed by ensuring he was in the dance-off. Tom's rumba was seriously over-marked - his bent leg when lunging(sp?) to the side was never turned out - his knee was always facing far too forward and I am amazed that Craig didn't pick up on it.
Austin was a rugby player with no dance training whatsoever, unlike the rest of them. He is the only one who seems to have injected any humour into the whole thing and his Paso was about the 'bravest' dance anyone has done on Strictly. Unfortunately the dance-off idea meant that the judges were able to save Lisa who is clearly the least favourite with the public and would have been out under the old system.
I hope Rachel wins now that Austin is out as she is the only one who seems to deserve the marks she is getting.

Rachel is a bit of a bore
Len has seemed bored for a while. Bruno has his favourites. Craig has always been my favourite judge.

Bruce gets the laughs 'cos hes been around for so long and Tess spends her time simpering at the camera. I get the feeling there is someone there making facial expressions for her to copy, serious, sad, wry etc.

Cant bloody stand Brian 'Alien head' fortuna and Coppertone, plastic Kristina. What do people see in them?

Of course I'll be watching till the end, but the fun has gone out of it now.

Salleroo, can I suggest you stick pins into yourself throughout the show on Saturday, just to make sure you don't enjoy it too much .

I agree with you Salleroo except that I do like Brian.
I really think the judges tried to ensure that one of the men was in the dance off and they realised that as Tom is getting the most votes they would have to sacrifice Austen and they were able to do this because he danced first and they always mark low on the first dance. How they engineered it that he got lower marks for his ballroom than his Latin I do not know and that one shouldered lift he did was amazing and way beyond the capability of Tom.

ooh please - Austin was the weakest dancer on Saturday. The American Smooth was so boring - but that was Erin's fault. Why don't people want a boy/girl final - it makes it much more interesting. Rachel is a great dancer, why doesn't she get the support? People say she's boring, but she seems sweet to me!

Don't get me started on Tom ''herbietea''. I find it astonishing how highly he has been marked recently and all that ''I changed my wedding'' bollocks - blatant vote pleading. I find it frustrating that he gets votes just for being in a soap.
Just because he loves Fred Astaire doesn't mean he can dance like him - who does he think he is fgs!

one thing that is annoying me about Rachel and somebody has mentioned this before is that she is coming across as all shy and soft yet all we've seen of her in the past ten years is her with her kit off in lads mags, well i'm sorry but thats not my definition of someone who's shy.

i agree most women have tummies, believe me i know! its just she is soo thin compared to a normal woman that it does stnd out a bit.

Craig is the only one who holds back on ridiculous marking and says what he thinks, i just have to fast forward the other judges as i want to hurl.

Completely agree with you carrots - about Rachel, womens' tummies and Craig. Arlene I cannot bear to listen to on Sat, Sun or on ITT - which she is ALWAYS on.

I really don't think Tom is smug. I used to but, as has been said elsewhere, I think it's just that he tries too hard which isn't the worst thing in the world.

I'm still not convinced. I know women (with kids) who have figures v similar to Tess. Slim and tall with a bit of a rounded belly. I think she looks lovely TBH.

I used to get so excited and clap when my faves did a good dance. Now I dont really care, although I have to disagree and admit to not minding Tom and actually liking Camilla, they get so excited. Brendan scowls, Rachel keeps pawing him. And Rachel tilts her little head and tries to look intelligent.

I'm going to get flamed for this, but did anyone else think her mum and stepdad look like they flew in from Marbella for the evening. Nice medallion! And where did she get the Mitchell bouncer brothers?

Tess is just a muppet, then again so is her husband.
