FABULOUSO!!! I am out on the 13th and really really have to see it - i can now accept the party invitation. I was seriously going to decline!!!

I just think the X Factor might be in the 13th - but don't mind too much about watching that the next day

Vincent was upset because he knew it was his fault - with his dodgy choreography on the paso - that they were in the dance-off.

Those bloomin' boys are Teflon-coated! Next week is going to have to be Lisa and Rachel in the dance-off with Lisa going. Not right. At this rate Tom's going to be undeservedly in the final on popular votes alone (I know, I know the public vote's teh important thing yadda yadda....)

Wasn't that Kristina in the audience behind the Fonz? Though it was odd to see gurny-Karen dancing with Brian, rather than her.

Meanwhile, is any household as obsessed with how the voting's gone than ours? Dh is practically doing a spreadsheet!

Who do you think deserves to be in the final two then? Much prefer to have 3 in the final.

Predictions for order now?

My twopenneth:
4th Rachel (I do hope so)
3rd Tom
2nd Lisa
1st Austin

I think the piblic will decide to rally behind Lisa. I really don't know why, but she's soooo much more likeable than RS. Last week after the dance-off and losers were announced, Lisa was crying; this week Rachel was smiling all over her slappable face. Can't you even pretend to be upset for Christine, woman?

Lisa was fab this week I must admit. I have started to warm to her slightly but I do wish she wouldn't fawn all over Brendan.

On pure dancing ability I think the final 2 should be Rachel and Austin. But I'd like it to be Lisa and Austin - because they've both improved over the weeks and really worked to get to where they are (and a boy vs girl final is better).

In reality, what will probably happen is:

Next week: D/off - Lisa and Rachel. Lisa will go.

Then: Tom will get through to the final by dint of the popular vote alone. Don't know who the judges will put through at that stage - probably Rachel ahead of Austin.

So final will be Tom and Rachel and Smug-chops will win it.

(If I've got the process right there. Do the judges decide on the last place in the final or does the public put the top 2 out of 3 through? I can't remember what happened last year...)

AFAIK Squeaver, the system is exactly the same for the final ... last year, Alesha got thru on the public vote (tho I think she was top with the judges too) and the judges put Matt thru ahead of Gethin after the D/O.

Does anyone know what they are dancing in the semi-final??
They've each got 2 dances left to do ... which I assume they'll be doing next week. So what are they dancing the week after?
No one has done an Argentine Tango yet, so they may be bringing that in for this week or next, but that still leaves them one short ...?

What they've got left:
Lisa - Jive and Waltz
Tom - Rumba and Foxtrot
Rachel - Cha Cha and Tango
Austin - Samba and American Smooth

Maybe there's a problem with the Argentine Tango in that it's Vincent's "speciality" isn't it? Wouldn't that give him a bit of an unfair advantage?

I'm hoping for a boy/girl final. I think Lisa or Rachel will go this week, then the following week the judges will have to choose between a boy and girl and I think they will choose a girl to stay and go in the final. I want Austin to go, Erin is far too desperate. I think Tom will win overall, but is probably the least deserving.

I think Vincent crying was great - it shows how important it is for all of them - and despite all his attitude, he is probably a nice guy

I hope Rachel is in the final - I don't know why people are so nasty about her and Lisa - in the dance training they always come across so nicely - whereas Austin makes arrogant remarks all the time and Tom is over the top all the time, yet people seem to think the sun shines out their arse.

mmmmm wonder why that is......??

I'm with you Annaje. Actually, I'm not a big fan of Lisa but I do like Rachel and I do think people are quite mean to them both.

Glad Christine's gone. Is there any doubt that she's the reason Adrian Chiles left Jane Garvey? He's been in the audience every week and it just seems really obvious. Are they even pretending that they're not together anymore? Anyway, Christine's dances really weren't up to the same standard as the others this week. She doesn't seem to have the same control as the other dancers...she sort of looks a bit wobbly and like she could fall over at any minute! Didn't see all of it but that tango looked abysmal!

I'm sure I read a thread somewhere elso on MN (maybe in sleb twaddle) where Tess Daly denied being pg and said she's just fat! I think it had a link to a tabloid article.

I agree! I like Rachel, I don't see why she gets people so worked up.

Lisa's a bit simpering for my liking but she seems like a nice enough girl.

I would really like a girl in the final but I fear it will be the Austin-Tom show.

Am hoping Rachel goes next week. Cant warm to he at all. Plus she looked so smug waiting for the judges in the dance off - no grace to look sad for Christine at all. Vincent crying - worth voting them out for that alone

My DS love Tom, he trys a little to hard I think but prefer him to Austin.

Lisa did really well this week so hope she makes it through.
