Is it Duffy's first time trying to sing whilst being entirely outshone by writhing Strictly professionals? It can throw a girl off, so I've heard.
I've never liked that 'Cirque du Soleil' style of show dancing, much better to have a rockin' good time and end on a high note than some melodrama, esp if you can't actually carry it off. I must say, Lisa doesn't look like she's light as a feather, one does recall Craig's comment about "lifting dead weight" when reviewing Mark and Karen's show dance - the man's got a point. Which I should add is not to suggest I think Lisa looks like a heifer, she's a fine figure of a woman.
Tom and Camilla's showdance wasn't entirely my cup of tea either, I don't like Camilla's tendency to go for the oddball facial expressions. But for style and grace it was definitely the best. And, god knows, nothing like the terrible depths of the infamous Puppet Dance a la Jackson.
I did feel for poor old Kaplinsky. She was clearly like "I could be sleeping right now but instead I have come on national telly feeling like s**t" [although not looking like it].
