I think Lisa should win as she has consistently impoved while the rest of gone a bit downhill

Brian has been dancing with Karen Hardy and Flavia. Not Kristina. Yes, what is that all about ?

And did you see in the papers, yes o.k. it was the Dm, i know, but Karen Hardy saying that Gary Rhodes made her want to quit. Now come on, surely that isn't professional, to say that, even if she thought it. She said that he had so many other work commitments, he couldn't practice enough. And then she lost her rag with him. That she thought this was not o.k. of her.
Right o.k. But surely she has been driven to distraction before. I mean, with him, he had commitments that got in the way. drove her mad. him not having enough time/concentration on the job.
BUT what if you get given someone who simply can't dance. not all celebs are any good. if you were given a naff one, you wouldn't quit, would you ?
I mean poor Anton de berk has never been given a decent partner, in his 'dancing' LIFE, has he ?
and even if she did lose her cool with him. still no reason to quit. Very odd.

I don't think it will be an all boy final - ultimately the judges are still going to have to choose who gets put through over the next 2 weeks, and I think they seem to prefer the girls to the boys. I think it will be a boy/girl final - but I can't call who it will be. I would like it to be Lisa and Rachel with Rachel winning, but that is very unlikely!

Are Brian and Kristina actually pro partners though? I thought they just danced together a lot because they were two of the newbies... so that would perhaps explain why they've not been together this week?

Oblomov - I think we're safe from paper snobbery here I saw that article too. Didn't Anton get Lesley Garret in the 1st series? Wasn't she meant to be good? Pasty was okay too.

Completely agree with your summary Downy. I don't think Brian and Kristina are pro partners. Strange how they weren't dancing together - and how Kristina was only in the audience.

Can't wait for the Weakest Link Strictly special as mentioned on yesterday's ITT.

I like Brendan and Vincent - at least they have some character.

Is anyone missing Flavia this year? I thought she was great, loved watching her and Matt dance last year (especially as you knew there was something going on...

i too, just assumed that brian and kristina were put together, as newbies, rather than being actual pro partners.

I don't think they're pro partners, but they've been dancing together on the show since week 1 in the pro dances so I just thought it was a bit odd that Kristina was in the audience last week. Feel a bit sorry for her (although maybe she wanted a break)

Couldn't recognise the American sleb he had for Dancing with the Stars - anyone?

I thought it was odd Kristina was in the audience rather than backstage. I think the JS stuff must have really upset her. I haven't seen the press coverage of it but I wouldn't be surprised if the papers have said some unpleasant things about her. I saw Brian on ITT saying he had never seen her so upset (which kind of implies that they knew each other for more than a few weeks but I don't know?). She has a nice website also and she kept her blog up-to-date with links to footage of her and John and messages of thanks for support etc. Since they left SCD the blog has been removed from her site.

I agree that Brian's website needs updating! I don't know who he was dancing with in the photos. According to Wiki, he only appeared in serise 4 of DWTS, dancing with Shandi Finessey (Miss USA and Gameshow hostess, incase you were wondering!) That was in the Spring of last year. He then went on the tour before coming here.

I'm not sure that there is anything in the fact that Kristina was in the audience on Saturday night. She and Brian are not prof partners so it's not weird that she wasn't dancing with him. It's quite possible that any of the dancers who did perform choreographed the routine but I've got no idea as to how they decide who is doing which dances.
It's interesting how we notice where she is but not where any of the other eliminated professionals are ... Where was Anton on Saturday night? What about Hayley?
It's my guess that she was there purely to watch and enjoy the show and the cameras picked her out because she is now a 'sleb'.

You're right it probably doesn't mean anything. However Anton was dancing on Saturday as were most of the other eliminated professionals. I can't remember if Hayley was one of them though.

I noticed that Hayley was dancing in one of the pro-dances this weekend but only because she wasn't very good so it stuck out.

Kristina was apparently ill this week and therefore excused the pro-dance. Not sure where I read that - could have been the strictly message boards so might not be 100% reliable!

I forgot - I didn't watch the Sunday show until the spotlight bit, when I managed to get DH to turn over from Top Gear.... So of course I didn't notice where any of them were

Well hate to gossip(!!!) but apparently Austin does have a foul temper and is not a very nice guy at all in real life. Although he hides it very well and comes across as a great guy, hands on dad type.
Don't know much about the others though, they might be the same.

According to The Sun (so god knows how accurate this will be), Brian [my favourite , Hayley and Kristina have been so popular with viewers that the SCD regular dancers are fearing for their jobs.
I reckon James Jordan would be first in line - he is so charmless.
