Hello again!!

Saw an interview with Christine where she denied the whole Adrian Chiles thing. And he split up with his wife before she started on the One Show, I believe.

I think of the 4 left in Austin is by far the best dancer. And the most genuine person - the other 3 are smug and meh!

So what I think needs to happen is next week, the dance off needs to be Tom and Rachel - Rachel will go through, the following week, Rachel and Lisa, and I THINK Lisa would go through (they were SO protecting her this week with those high scores). Then in the final, Austin is WAY more popular than Lisa, so he would win.

TigersChick - Austin is doing Salsa next week for his latin - samba was a few weeks back.

I think Lisa's been under-rated pretty much through the whole series. I rewatched her dances from Saturday, and they were beautiful (well maybe you wouldn't describe the car-wash dress dance as beautiful but she sure has the legs to pull it off!)

I thought Vincent was just so sweet last night, I agree it obviously means so much to them all, and it would be so stressful to be in a dance-off.

I don't like either Tom or Austin, I just can't stand Tom's dance looks, and I'm just bored of A&E (although saying that the paso was just so entertaining and entralling.)

Overall, and while I'm not a huge fan, I think Lisa deserves to win....

The bright red lipstick doesn't do Lisa any favours.
I don't understand why I can't take to either woman - Lisa or Rachel. Thats not like me. Very strange.
Mind you I am going off Austin and Tom, more and more aswell.
I don't have a favourite.
I still think Austin will win though. On public 'favourability', rather than techncial skill.

I think it's inevitable that Rachel and Lisa will be in the dance-off next week. Lisa just seems very fake and over the top - she looks stunned when she's given favourable comments even though she was top of the leader board. How on earth can Arlene compare dance trained Lisa to never danced in her life Christine? Rachel comes across as quite sweet but dull. Strange to hear her talking about how shy she is when you remember some of the photoshoots she has done. So I think it's an Austin Tom final and I think either could win but Austin possibly has the edge with the voting public.

I thought Christine was very gracious after being kicked out but definitely time for her to go - as she herself acknowledged. On the Christine and Adrian issue she was definitely on the One Show for quite a while before Adrian and Jane split. Of course no-one but the people involved can really know what happened but what is difficult to stomach is Adrian saying just after he split that he had "great chemistry" with Christine and the overt support for her at the shows week after week. How on earth will this make his children feel at school. Just not very classy or thoughtful behaviour. If it was just supporting a work colleague why not also support John Sergeant - doesn't he also work on the One Show?

I didn't even KNOW that Christine was with Adrian. Just goes to show what I know!

That's what's great about the internet - you can succumb to reading vile papers such as the Mail online without having to give the paper any of your money. They have both denied being involved with each other.

That's what I thought. I thought they were still denying it but Adrian seems to be there every week looking like a proud and loving DP rather than a colleague . Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I don't know why I care...I don't even watch the One Show. I need to get a life.

I don't get why Vincent was crying either. Just emotional being in the dance off I guess.

I'm in the same boat - don't watch The One Show and should definitely get a life. However, because I've listened to Jane on radio for years - on R5 and now on Woman's Hour and have also followed Adrian's career and always liked both I feel more involved (and let down!!) than I should. And Adrian converted to Catholicism last year so it just gets stranger and stranger.

Adrian and Christine surely not! She is so beautiful and he looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp! She should get together with the lovely Matthew, I thought it was very sweet when he did the little "riverdance" bit during their last dance after they got voted off!

I am so sad to see them both go, I really liked them but it was definitely their time. I still can't warm to Rachel or Lisa so I'm hoping it will be Austin and Tom in the final.

Like I said before, Vincent was upset, imo, because he knew it was his paso choreography that landed them in the dance-off.

What sort of expression should Adrian Chiles have on his face that denotes "supportive colleague" rather than shag-buddy, I wonder? . I honestly don't think they are together (but what does anyone really know, I suppose). And neither are Brendan and Lisa (yes, he did get engaged, bb)

Loved that Riverdance bit too.

Anyway, I thought the collective MN wisdom was that Lisa's having a thing with Alien Boy Brian.

Glad Christine went, though I like her, it was time. I thought it was really noticeable in the Latin whatever it was that Matthew coreographed it so she spent a lot of time not dancing - sitting around on her knees at the start, and a shockingly long time upsidedown while M turned round and round.

And Lisa is kind of a Jodie substitute for now. Her double chin has definately gone down!

Lisa and Brian? Really?! I didn't know that Brendan got engaged. I'm so behind with everything this year. Last year I was doing nothing other than sitting in front of the telly BFing all day long so I got to see ITT every day and the weekend shows. This year DD's dinner and bedtime seem to clash with all but the Sunday shows so I miss out on lots of the goss and I don't get to see the lovely Claudia and her fabulous frocks and shoes

Point taken Squeaver. I don't know how Adrian should have looked.... he just seems to be there an awful look and he seems very erm, admiring of Christine!

If I'd had any sense,I'd have put a bet on Austin winning right back at the beginning.I'm kicking myself that I didn't.

I can't stand Tom,and neither of the girls does anything for me-Lisa seems very needy and Rachel,I don't know what it is,but I just can't warm to her.

I'd read the same thing about Tess saying she wasn't pregnant,just fat,but can't remember where I read it.The wardrobe dept don't do her any favours with those strapless shapeless dresses though.

Adrian Chiles is funny, that is his attraction (if indeed there is anything between him and Christine - though his wife Jane Grvey is fabulous and funny on Woman's Hour)
My prediction and hope is that Austin wins, and that we lose Lisa next week

Digital Spy is good for the gossip - tho I'm not 100% sure about how reliable it is ... but that could be said about any 'source'.

Brendan is engaged according to 'Now' magazine!!

Of course Vincent wasn't crying because he was thinking they're not going to win!

It doesn't only take up the celebs' lives, it takes up the pros' lives too! They spend hours together, and I am sure that they (celebs and dancers) do become close.

Christine WAS very popular, and no doubt that popularity did extend to her competitors, and it is possible that maybe they are friends away from the spotlight.

It was a very emotional moment, and I think Vincent got caught up in it too....

I've got no opinion on Lisa/Brian/Brendan / Christine/Adrian but I DO know (was confirmed on the show) that Brendan is just engaged, so I would hope not!

I don't think it is possible for us to know how emotionally draining it must be to be in the D/O. And everyone reacts differently; some people cry, some people don't ...

Fionaann - According to a post on the last thread (sorry, can't remember who posted it) Tom was getting the second-most votes from the public - second only to John ... so, assuming that is correct and it continues, he's looking good for the final and even the trophy ...

I know but I'm hoping with each person going out that their votes will be going to Austin and not Tom - surely JS fans more likely to go for the rugby guy?? Also, Digital Spy said Christine was getting the most votes of all the females so every chance Austin will catch and overtake Tom.
