Ooh you could just take your pick of any house you want.....Buckingham Palace, anywhere.

im going to watch it will you, all the girls on my other thread have chickened out, so im watching it alone

TrillianAstra · 23/11/2008 21:53

We are survival experts, we've seen 28 days later. This is soooo much easier, there aren't even any zombies.

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 21:54

And hey look on the bright side, at least there's no traffic.

Bella73 · 23/11/2008 21:54

What I'm wondering is how many of the survivors would realise the extent of the problem, the small number of survivors? Cos some of them were probably out cold when the announcement was made. I hope some convenient medic survives to explain to everyone (me) what went on.

barbie1 · 23/11/2008 21:55

right to harrods shoe department i think well if you are going to snuff it just as well do it with fab shoes on!

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 21:55

Crying laughing as DH just sneezed and said 'I think I'm going down with it'.....you had to be here though I guess as might not be funny for anyone else.

KatyMac · 23/11/2008 21:56

I think I missed the 5 days later thing - when did that happen?

TrillianAstra · 23/11/2008 21:56

Does anyone think that leukaemia means no immune system means surviving virus that 'makes your immune system attack you'?

Obviously not.

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 21:56

Oh shit imagine seeing all ds's friends. Major lump in throat moment.

OP posts:
chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 21:57

Hey but at least the lump's in my throat not my armpit like the victims as then I'd be really worried.

OP posts:
barbie1 · 23/11/2008 21:57

holy shit jumped a mile!

TrillianAstra · 23/11/2008 21:57

Lol

Bella73 · 23/11/2008 21:58

Well, I might be wrong but Julie Graham definitely fell ill then it said "2 days later" then something else happened then it said "3 days later" and she woke up. I think?

I was thinking genetic immunity thing as the mother survived too?

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 22:00

Yeh I think he'll have survived (Peter)

OP posts:
Bella73 · 23/11/2008 22:00

So there are two types of survivor - never got ill (the guy in the son's camp, the prisoner, the rich guy) and got ill but recovered (Julie and, I'm guessing, Freema)?

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 22:01

How does that Scottish guy know that nothing is working and understand the extent of it all?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 23/11/2008 22:01

Finally, someone knows how to survive!

KatyMac · 23/11/2008 22:03

Wheres Martha?

TrillianAstra · 23/11/2008 22:03

Has no-one got out a wind-up radio to see if there's some kind of emergency service?

KatyMac · 23/11/2008 22:04

Well I have - but it isn't going to help them

Portofino · 23/11/2008 22:05

My DH noticed the car too. I can't watch stuff like this anymore. I won't sleep a wink!

chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 22:06

Uh oh he's going to have to have a shitty car instead of that Audi now

OP posts:
chipmunkswhereareyou · 23/11/2008 22:07

Cor I wish it were that easy to park at my local hospital

OP posts:
differentID · 23/11/2008 22:09

I knew she'd drive the car through the palte glass.
