Strictly 2026 : THE LAUNCH SHOW 19.25hrs How will our new presenters fare ? NO SPOILERS

[EineReiseDurchDieZeit]

A shiny new thread for a shiny new series. Please bring your dancing shoes over here.

Not sure whether I am doing weekly threads or not yet. Yet to decide, but I’m doing one for the first episode anyway.

The preshow chat thread has been quiet and I’m wondering if lots of people aren’t watching due to the departure of Tess and Claude. I have my reservations about the new presenting team but I’m willing to give them a chance.

KEEP DANCING 💃

Unit ed!!!

Off to the naughty step you go . Ha ha

Kaz! Love her.

Ooooo I’d forgotten that!! I think what irritated me is she clearly can dance, and she clearly also KNOWS she can dance, and she is confident enough already that she could find the camera rather than having to concentrate like everyone else. And in the pre bit where they were showing them practicing, they were doing simple warmup stretches and she was just so over the top!

And I don’t know why that is irritating me so much!

She was a great pro who never got her moment to shine!

Karen was a worthy winner🏆

Did this thread disappear and then come back?

Bit of a Konfusion of Karens on this thread!

Yep

Oh, we're back??

It’s back, WTAF?

Who is this bearded gent please?

Well this is all very strange, nice to see you all

Is he the ‘content creator’?

We are back!!

I loved that dance last year. A worthy winner for sure.

We Are Back?! I don’t need the stress!

“Content creator” … get a proper job

What’s going on here then? 👀😆

Welcome back.

Omgggg 😄😄😄 thank goodness

Phew!

It's ok I thought exactly the same 🤣

Oh we don"t know Katya's partner yet.

What happened?
