Strictly 2026 : THE LAUNCH SHOW 19.25hrs How will our new presenters fare ? NO SPOILERS

[EineReiseDurchDieZeit]

A shiny new thread for a shiny new series. Please bring your dancing shoes over here.

Not sure whether I am doing weekly threads or not yet. Yet to decide, but I’m doing one for the first episode anyway.

The preshow chat thread has been quiet and I’m wondering if lots of people aren’t watching due to the departure of Tess and Claude. I have my reservations about the new presenting team but I’m willing to give them a chance.

KEEP DANCING 💃

new Canadian pro is now new AJ until
i’ve learnt his name. 5 new pros and 13 celebs is a lot of new names to learn. Especially with bake off starting next week as well

Glad Kai has someone good.

I thought Nancy wasn't getting a partner? Glad she has though.

And they have had the chance to edit in the best bits…can only get worse live

I can't bear all this forced excitement, with all the jazz hands and screeching and rictus grins.

Yes, I agree

Sorry!

#JusticeForKaren !

Kai is my favourite and I thought he wasn't in it until I realised it was him with curly hair! I think it looks great.

Delta is irritating me and I don’t know why - I like her music!

Early start with nanwarz there

Dead nan already.

Kai and Jowita both have curls! Couldn't recognise either.

I dislike delta.

Drink!

Is delta still dating one of the Westlife chaps? Or boyzone??

Two words … Brian McFadden

No

Kerry katonas ex… no don’t think so.

I don't know if it's our TV, but the voices don't seem very synced with the visual. It's disconcerting.

I like all the pairings, especially Kai + Hair 😂

So only one of the new pros have a partner?

Ah and it feels like the MC threads again!!

Ok! thanks for clearing that up

Yes i dont really like her but given the celebs are so not A list and the new presemters i agree too much change

love justicefor karen 😂

Delta is annoying.
