Sorry behind catwalk but has anyone seen Molly's new show on you tibe?.It really is quite sure and has all the makings of a career in freefall (she even had to get her husband to produce it). Was it always going to be this way after the Schofiled scandal or is she like Tess Daly simply not to enter enough to make a career on her own?

Not really. Schofield hasn't been seen since, I think apart from some very odd 3-part show he did after the scandal where he was on an island. Pre-scandal he was apparently being lined up to replace Bradley Walsh on The Chase.

I think people were fed up with Holly long before Philip's scandal. Can't start blaming Philip for Holly's downfall!

I agree with a pp that there are now people 25 years younger than Holly who seem to be preferred. Some Love Island person called Amber has been on GMB every day, as some sort of commentator. Olivia Attwood is everywhere. I don't know who these people are but keep seeing them on adverts. It's a total and utter change in culture in general and Holly looks dated (even though she shouldn't).

You can't even buy cleaning products online these days without a video of some influencer dancing around a supermarket popping up.

I mean obviously your tv viewing .is more high brow !but yes people have preferences of who they like to watch, i am sure you are the same with your viewing preference, day time tv is supposed to be light fluffy and sometimes informative, it isn't supposed to be hard work but I am sure the viewers are not as you are insinuating,

Christine was already an established tv presenter when she met Frank Lampard. I agree with you on the rest of them though. Particularly Barney Walsh, who I saw interviewed recently and was utterly monosyllabic. He doesn't appear to have a personality without dad there to bounce off.

@LomonaldI occasionally would have it on the background when I was a student but I couldn’t even tell you who was presenting as it was background noise. I’ve not watched it in years because with streaming there is so much choice. There is nothing wrong with fluffy tv but my point was are people specifically tuning in to watch Holly or would they watch the show regardless? If it’s Holly who is the driver than many viewers will go with her although some may not like the digital format.

I can’t think of any tv shows that I watch because of a particular presenter. I do see films if they have certain actors in though.

She betrayed Peter Jones who was a good friend too. They were in very last stages of setting up a lifestyle business, she backed out blaming family commitments - then set up her own lifestyle brand.

She and Phillip were very good at their jobs.I had a friend who went on their show and he said he couldnt believe how they knew so much about him and how lovely and professional they both were.
You are not who you are on TV and stuff gets out as we know with Phillip Schofield. Also, you can't be as close friends as they were without knowing a lot about each other so I expect she knew about him. She did drop her friend like a hot potato though.
I dont really care but she was on TV a lot and it is ever thus. Why dont the people in charge get new people on so you dont get so use to one face and it gives other people a chance.

Once saw her and Ferne Cotton in some weird filming at a hotel we were staying at. My daughters ‘met them’ in the ladies and said both were stuck up - they had smiled at them and said hello but both Holly and Ferne looked at them as if they’d trod in something nasty.

She's always been very trite to me and paid her little attention, very dull woman. Her speech on this morning after Schofield was the worst speech when trying to save her arse. Rubbish, patronising and just awful. For that reason alone she shouldn't ever be on screen again, ha ha!

I hope it's over (her career). Sounds harsh, I know. I used to like her - she came across as lovely and warm and genuine, but then I read about how dismissive she was of staff when she was at the height of her fame on This Morning. She would look down on 'the minions'. So, yes, I really dislike her now and have zero sympathy.
