Sorry behind catwalk but has anyone seen Molly's new show on you tibe?.It really is quite sure and has all the makings of a career in freefall (she even had to get her husband to produce it). Was it always going to be this way after the Schofiled scandal or is she like Tess Daly simply not to enter enough to make a career on her own?

JAN MOIR: Holly's new show is so banal it makes Meghan's look good

Caring, sharing Holly Willoughby blessed us with a return to the broadcast world this week, floating back down the airwaves like a blonde cherub on a candy-floss cloud of crud.

You can't work it out?

I shouldn't have to. If the OP is incapable, several times, of typing the name of the person about which she is writing, then I cannot take her view seriously.

People always like to find a woman to blame for a man’s crimes

Her crime was pretending she didn't know about Schofield's relationship when the whole studio and possible the whole industry did and pretending to him that she was a good friend and then dropping him like a hot stone when it became clear that her own career was going to be damaged of she didn't disown him.

After queue jumping the Queen's lying in State with Schofield and behaving like royalty herself, she has brought this career nosedive on herself.

Lomonald · 29/07/2026 09:12

I don't think there is space on tv for her now, the phill.and Holly double act ruined that for her, she was fine on tv nothing exceptional but not good enough for a comeback, where could she go ? The you tube is a career move that probably will also fade, i saw a clip yesterday on tv of her and Stanley tucci who will turn up to an opening of an envelope as long as he can talk about how much he knows about food !

I don't understand why people who are wealthy and have no need to earn money don't move in to a more meaningful role when they get to a natural break in their career. She could devote her life to working in a dog rescue centre or a charity shop or running a cafe in a hospice or working in a food bank or marshaling at charity runs. Something, anything that isn't trying to keep your mug in the limelight. Penny Lancaster has my respect for getting out there as a special police officer.

Completely agree. She is wealthy. Why does she have this desire to still be in the limelight?

If it was just the name OP got wrong I wouldn't have been bothered even
But there was so many mistakes in her multiple posts, grammar and spelling wise, and some sentences that didn't even make sense, that it was really strange. And did make you wonder if it should be taken seriously on a site that has so many non genuine threads sometimes.

I have gathered it's a genuine thread though

Thats a bit different. PL's husband is a multi millionaire and neither of them need to work for the rest of their lives. HW & her husband are relatively young still so the money they have right now might not be enough to see them through the rest of their lives, plus if she can get a TV deal, why wouldn't she take it? Alison Hammond for example seems to be saying yes to everything she can possibly get right now as in 10 years or so she might not get as much work

I think she wants to "work" I understand it might look like she is chasing the limelight but media /tv personality is her job and she is trying to get her career up and running.

NotOnYourEllie · 29/07/2026 09:16

I actually think doing a 'normal' job would be a much better move. Ironically that would provide content people may actually be interested in. The days of watching overly privileged people with minimal talent, unboxing their pr gifts and designer hauls on YouTube and tiktok are thankfully dying out.

rollonxmas · 29/07/2026 09:17

What a spiteful thread to start. You sound gleeful, Op. If you don’t like her then don’t watch but she’s had a very successful career so far with millions in the bank and good network of industry friends so I’m sure she’ll be just fine.

Stop being spiteful.

Tapoopoo · 29/07/2026 09:18

She was absolutely everywhere for a while and people get fed up of seeing the same face everytime they turn on the TV. I suspect Alison Hammond is going to be the same. I'm surprised Ant and Dec are still going (especially after what happened).

Her thing is non-threatening, girl next door which is why PS affected her career so much. I wonder whether she'd been so affected if she had something else to her.

I know she did the Keith Lemmon thing which I guess was an attempt to diversify and show a different side to her but even in that she was the innocent eye candy.

I think she's got a long way because of her connections and being pretty rather than skill but so have a lot of other people. I'm not going to criticise her for that, take every advantage that you can, I say.

I think anyone can set up a you tube channel so there is nothing to differentiate Holly unfortunately..Surely a large streaming channel or conventional channel picks you up if you are any good? I agree Holly has suffered some significant reputations damage and this does smack of despararion. Holly still has links in the industry as she was being interviewed by Sara Cox but I don't think these are enough to bale her out.

Anthea Turner did the same when her career died. If you're blonde, pretty, famous-ish and can make huge pots of money making harmless TV then why not.

Daygloboo · 29/07/2026 09:20

TiredLittlePup · 29/07/2026 08:00

I can’t stand her. She is another one who enjoys and benefits from being one of ITVs protected people along with the likes of Ant and Dec. All not living the lives they like to project to the world but all covered up for. ITVs inner circle. 🤮

What's wrong with Ant and Dec. They seem lovely. I cant imagine them being that different off screen. Ant had a drink problem, and a failed marriage, but so do millions of other people. What's the problem. And I certainly cant imagine Declan being a nasty piece of work in real life.

fundamentallyauthentic · 29/07/2026 09:28

If you can’t get a TV job and want to try and improve your brand whilst making an income then what else do you do in 2026 other than start a project on a digital or online platform?

Exactly this. I remember her sitting there simpering away holding PSs hand whilst he ‘came out as gay’ telling him how brave he was. Even then as someone who has no TV connections and lives a long way from London knew that the reason he was doing it was because he was about to be exposed along with the fact he’d been having a relationship with a runner in potentially career ending (poss illegal) circumstances. If I knew she certainly did but she only dropped him when it was going to affect her career.

I don’t think she was particularly well liked even before any of this happened. She’s pretty and giggles and simpers a lot but has no particular talent otherwise.

Nolongera · 29/07/2026 09:30

I quite like the idea of an article being behind a catwalk.

ClairDeLaLune · 29/07/2026 09:35

I always found her and Schofield to be two of the most irritating people on the planet. Completely fake and patronising. Could never bear to watch them.

He also hit a child with his car and his marriage didn't "fail", he had an affair. I honestly dont know how he got away with it all.

The opening post is another one of a very large number of nonsense posts from the same poster.

It reads like a low-budget AI bot that can get nothing right.

chemmie · 29/07/2026 09:46

The thing is the people who watch This Morning would watch a donkey presenting it. Perhaps that’s unfair but I don’t think people are drawn to it by particular presenters. So it’s a gamble if the audience comes with her or not.

The child wasn't injured.

As for the affair - who cares? Thousands of other celebrities have had extra marital affairs revealed in the media and gone onto prosper.

I don't either, the cctv of him narrowly missing that child was horrifying.

It only matters to the media if the child was hurt in some way. It’s no mystery that he “got away with it”.

I thought the queue jumping thing was all really odd though, the tv company arranged for them to jump the queue so they could report on it. Why is that a problem?

It's just bizarre, people do all they can to avoid queues, they pay shed loads of money to jump them at theme parks - why would anyone stand in line if they didn't have to? If anyone else in that queue had been offered the chance to jump it then they would have literally jumped at the chance, no one wants to stand there for hours on end just waiting for the sake of it.

People were just bitter that they didn't get to jump the queue themselves IMO.

OP why are you posting such illegible nonsense?

Sadcafe · 29/07/2026 09:57

One of those people who just irritates, never been convinced she has any actual talent and her latest bid for continued fame seems a bit desperate, when she appears on im a celebrity, we’ll know for sure her careers over
