Sorry behind catwalk but has anyone seen Molly's new show on you tibe?.It really is quite sure and has all the makings of a career in freefall (she even had to get her husband to produce it). Was it always going to be this way after the Schofiled scandal or is she like Tess Daly simply not to enter enough to make a career on her own?

Do people actually care or still care about her?! I think she totally tanked her career when she asked everyone that weird ‘how are you’ question 😂🫣 she’s just so weird and boring 😴

Christine Lampard started career here in NI on the BBC as I recall.. Her big break was the One show with Adrian Childs. Apparently she was studying politics at QUB but didn't finish but worked for the BBC instead.

Why do so many people assume we all know the same names? There are somenames in the public domain but I'm one of those who don't trawl 'reality', ie contrived, TV so if that's where this person is from then the name means nothing!

Is that actually her kitchen at home? Looks very soulless, especially with the massive neon sign of the name of her show.

schofield's tv 'announcement' was cringe and the other presenters could not realistically fake their 'surprise'. The public don't like liars.

Phil and Holly always felt like they were doing the audience a favour allowing them to watch. All those insider jokes, faux innuendos, trying to be too cool for school - so self indulgent. A complete turn off for viewers. I never used to like Alison Hammond but now I think she is fab. She is down to earth, funny, warm and has a real personality.

I agree. I stopped watching This Morning years ago because of her. Fern was just as bad. I liked it when it was Richard and Judy. Just over exposure. I once quite liked Ant and Dec. Can't stand either of them now.

Yes why is it the moment someone on TV becomes remotely populur they get shoved down our throats morning noon and night? Adverts, voiceovers, gameshows, you name it they're doing it, you get sick to the back teeth of seeing and hearing them in the end. Phillip Schofield was bloody EVERYWHERE before the scandal

Yes, Eamonn & Ruth were there at the announcement too, comfortinghim. I bet they're cringing now considering how not long after they were all arch enemies

The giggling and inside jokes was very immature. I never enjoyed watching it and found HW annoying if I'm being honest.

She had a good run, but I just can't see her being successful in any other role now. If I were her I'd bugger off and enjoy life out of the limelight. Its a toxic world anyway, who would want it?

I think she suffered reputational damage after Schofield but I think jumping back into ‘light and fluffy mode’ after the horrors of the Gavin Plumb case might have worked against her image too.

There’s probably very solid, personal reasons why she couldn’t bear to talk about it publicly (it’s truly horrific and very frightening) but at the same time, talking about it openly, might have helped to shine a light on the horrors and misogyny of the darkest parts of internet.

This thread has got me thinking…..I always thought Penny Smith was great on GMTV and I think Jane McDonald is fab. So many great presenters out there. Unfortunately I think HW was incredibly bland and it all fell apart once PS was booted off This Morning. The giggly blonde act got old quickly. She hasn’t got the gravitas to carry a show or even segment, on her own.

The Schofield scandal is one thing but I think the thing that’s harmed her most is that “are you okay?” moment in the middle of it all. Doomed to be repeated in countdowns of the cringiest moments of all time forever more.

I expect she is hoping the public will change their opinion of her. Her new show is boring, but I only watched a few minutes of it. The trouble is she is just so bland and doesn't come across as genuine. If I were her I would disappear and enjoy life with my family and friends.
