CORONATION STREET THREAD. We're still in a heatwave, and it's going to be stuffy in that prison for Sarah! Nearly August 2026 already! **No spoilers please.**

So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

@Empress13 i think Jodie going to the station is true. Like I said to Sabre above, apparently Sarah got told that she confessed to the attack when Bethany visited Sarah in prison

Glad Lily told David about the gun, thought that would be yet another drawn out storyline.

I’m sure it will be- she’s probably moved it all now Lilly knows.

The baby is so cute, but looked like she could have been discharged months ago!

That’s what I think too. And Lilly will be either threatened by Jodie or punished for lying by David. Or both.

I thought that Ross just got some woman he knew to pretend to be the one Cassie was communicating with online as Cassie would have no idea what she looked like.

Oooooh, interesting theory!

I did think the woman looked a little bit afraid and wary though. (Like he had got to her a bit...) And as he overheard Cassie talking to this woman on the phone - and she mentioned her name, I suspect he contacted the woman first and warned her off/put the frighteners on her.

I may be wrong, and you may be right...

Not sure how Gemma has the time or money to buy countless, tacky outfits.

They need to tone her down, she wasn't always this bad. I'm pretty sure she used to close her mouth occasionally.

There's no way a major character like Sarah is going to spend 20 years in prison for murder. Either Gary will take the blame for her. Or else I reckon when Sarah legged it Theo was still alive and was finished off by Jodie. That will be one way to get rid of Jodie for good.

It’s a way of getting Idris and Sam closer he’s going to worm his way into Leanne’s heart (and probably business) via Sam.
Jodie is lying about going to police can’t believe David was so gullible to believe her! Ross definitely got to that woman first as he must have been waiting for her to turn up he’d know what she looked like. Why the hell didn’t Cassie run after her ?? Makes no sense and yes what was that look with Gemma? Btw she wears a wig (she cut her hair short IRL) hence the hair looking awful but they could have at least put her in a good one !

How would jodie have finished him off? No one said he was shot- that would have ruled Sarah out.
