So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

Was anyone else bemused by tonight’s ending? It just seemed sudden and random.

@JMSA Mary's behaviour tonight was very odd. I don't mind the character and think Patti Clare is a good actress, but there was a bit of over-acting there from her tonight!

And yeah, tonight did end abruptly!

Have I lived a sheltered life, or is it common for people to randomly jump into bed with each other in the middle of the day? Particularly in a house/pub they share with family / several other people?!

Todd bedding Glenda's date approximately five minutes after bumping into him in the street. Mrs Doyle and Brian at it in the Rovers out of nowhere?! 😳😳

The thought of Brian and Mrs Doyle in bed is not something I care to dwell on.

That seemed to be the direction a while ago. Brian and Mrs Driscoll seemed very random.

It’s a bit one sided. Mary clearly adores Brian but he sees her as a good friend and that’s it.
I actually think the randomness of Brian and Ma Driscoll was quite funny, very unexpected 😀

About a million years ago I used to watch Neighbours and would get so annoyed at the adults pandering to shouting children and giving in to their demands. I had the same feeling with Sally and Tim and that bloody Lucy last night. Look where we are already, in RL, by not saying no and there being no consequences for bad behaviour.

I can't remember the ending last night, was it to do with Jake filming Christina?

Total drivel last night. Brian is the latest to have his character assassinated by terrible writing. Sleeping with Maggie!!
Perhaps Corrie needs to return to being on 2 nights a week. Less shows and more carefully crafted scripts and storylines.

Brian was always a bit of a dickhead, wasn't he married but having a relationship with Julie when he first appeared? (She didn't know he was married). I liked Mary in her early days on the street but at this stdge she is just ridiculous, almost unwatchable actually.

Last nights was just a comedy sketch whoever is writing this drivel needs sacking

Going by Lucy’s part of the phone conversation with her dad it looks to me like he is taking the blame for her or perhaps he wants to get their stories straight and say that his wife attacked him first. It’s was also totally predictable that Lucy and Joanie were going to be killing each other.
