So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

I think Jodie’s kidnapped herself - haven’t seen her for ages.
And I know Ryan is popular on here but I find his character really boring.

There has to be some kind of Jodie-ness in the offing. Maybe she'll hold the staff in the baby unit hostage with the forgotten gun until David agrees to install her as full time mistress of Platt Hall and banish Shona into the wilderness.
Or maybe Kit will find some way of linking her to Theo's death. Anything to get Sarah off, even though he'd much prefer to see Gareh go down for it.

I think Sarah has been really rubbish. She seems so unbothered by it all.

Also, I don't dislike Ryan, but I don't love him either. His character is a bit boring at the moment I think...

I wanted to add also, I loathed Mick and Lou (from the Michaelis family) when they came in, and was glad when he was written out, and she went to prison. When she (Lou) came back in to Corrie though - when Debbie was in prison - she seemed much more affable and likeable. Hope she makes a return actually.

Characters regularly seem to disappear into the sinkhole for a couple of weeks and not be seen. It’s like they’re on a rotating stage, and aren’t on screen until they get back to the front again. Unless they’re all now on 3 week on, 3 week off contracts!

Harper is coming out of hospital soon, so I think Jodie will be making an appearance at about the same time. She'll be offering to look after her.

Lou will be back on the scene soon enough. She’ll be mates with Sarah in prison.

For some reason, Corrie is on Sunday at 8.30pm

In fact I would like Mal to return and explain the whole point of Alice. And then take Jodie and go.

Ha! Typically as soon as I said I'm waiting for Harper to come home she's on her way! So new(ish) baby about to arrive at Platt Mansions therefore there'll be a mad dash to Mothercare (ok ok I know 🙄) to buy a pram/cot/etc etc.

They should have a store of hardly used baby and toddler equipment at the ridiculous community centre. In the good old days Emily would have arranged it.
A health visitor would be a good addition to the street.

Yes, aplastic anaemia .... a rare and serious blood disorder where the bone marrow fails to make enough new blood cells.

He is meant to still have it, yes it's never mentioned. As I said, why bring all these babies/children into Corrie, many with health issues, and then never mention the health issues again? (And hardly feature the children?!)

They never/rarely mention any health issue the adults have either.
