So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

The Kabin gets buy on selling a few copies of the gazette and a quarter of sherbet bonbons every week

The pub was losing money but now is thriving even though they have added more staff

I was going to say, enough with the constant throwing in of people we don't recognise with apparently crucial storylines, then I pulled myself up. Could it be a cunning device to get us to empathise with Debbie's illness? Who's this then? Do I know you? Every friggin day.
I'm sure that's not so. But it would still make more bloody sense than chucking new randoms at us every episode.

Why is Fit Kit even still there ? Harry has moved out and doesn’t even like him and Sarah has binned him? Where is money coming from to pay rent/mortgage bills etc? Does Bethany have a job ?? Why hasn’t Carla been to see her given she works for her? Does she even still have a job at factoreh??? All these unanswered questions!! lol

Kit bought the house for Gemma and Chesney, so do they live rent-free, or are they paying him rent?

Wondering if he's using that to pay for, or at least towards, Sarah's mortgage?

The new woman. She seems determined to spend a huge amount on her funeral. Seems mad to me. Will she haunt the new alcoholic Todd if it doesn’t go her way ? Some kind of after life secret shopper ? Very random story and Todd will probably forget the horses the state his in lately.

So Tim's cousin Richie has changed his mood, gone all dark and weird. As Tim said to Sally, he got shirty when Tim said he wouldn't lie for him.

It's ludicrous for Richie to expect Tim to say his wife was aggressive and violent and the like, as Tim said, he never met her. The police would tear Tim apart in a few minutes (well Swain may take a few days) if Tim came forward to defend Richie and say his wife was violent. How on earth would Tim know? He hadn't seen Richie for 30+ years until 2 weeks ago. he literally only has Richie's word for it.

I think Richie can't tell the truth about who killed his missus, and is getting a bit desperate in case Lucy confesses.

Tim would risk everything and Richie would gain little

He already has an eye witness, the only one, speaking up for his version of events

I don't know how it is currently but my parents were in the hospitality business. My mother used to say they made more on soft drinks than alcohol. A local Indian restaurant hasn't got a licence and won't even allow you to bring your own alcohol in. They've been going for years and seem to be doing well. Probably wouldn't work for all restaurants but we like it, no noisy drunks.

Maybe Kit and Bethany are paying the bills, maybe he was paying his share even when Sarah was there. He's rented out his flat, why would Sarah evict him when she's got bigger things to worry about and probably useful if he's paying the rent and bills. Bethany works at Audrey's doing nails. Carla did go to see her, we didn't see it but I'm sure she commented on how Sarah was.

Edited to say yes Carla did visit Sarah, when she was talking about it Lisa got a bit worked as Carla was being sympathetic

With only Fit Kit and Bethany in the flat I wonder what they could be setting up to happen…are the writers really going to be this obvious? This is just a guess and the only reason I can see them having Fit Kit still there
