So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

And Leanne's gone off on one again, getting arsey with Idris for having the gambling night.

I was liking Brody and the girls (mark 2) so he’s now homeless so Sally and Tim can have 3 emotional unstable girls in the same house as new foster carers

She was looking for Berni. Her name is Celeste, which is kind of in alignment with Berni's kids' names - Apollo (Paul) and Gemini (Gemma). Were Berni and Celeste together in some New Age commune? Could that be their connection.

I agree she is organising her own funeral, so maybe she's come to ask Berni to do something, or look after something or someone, after she's gone.

Or maybe she's going to tell Berni that she's the sole beneficiary of her will, and is about to come into a vast fortune.

In which case, Berni can buy a big house for Gemma and her brood, and get them out of that ridiculously over crowded two up two down terrace.

And then find a good surgeon who can perform corrective surgery on Gemma's mouth, so she is able to eat with it closed. And be able to close it after speaking.

Agree with all of this. It would be nice if Bernie, Gemma, Chesney, and the quads and Jorzef could come into some good fortune!

Also, Kit's real names is Zodiac, so that aligns with the astronomical type names too.. (He changed it to Christopher/Kit later on, not sure if officially or not...)

I like Frances Barber. I hope people are wrong about her planning her own funeral, or if she is it's a long way off, I would love her to stay in Corrie. She has a gorgeous voice, and is a very glamorous lady!

@zanahoria I doubt if this new lady (trying to arrange a funeral) is Lauren's mum. She's nearly 70, and Lauren is only 20. Could be her grandmother I guess...

And I definitely agree that someone needs to sort out Gemma when she's eating! My 15 month old great niece manages to eat less messily.

I don't understand why Speed Daal is considered such a money spinner. Surely most restaurants make their profits on alcohol and Speed Daal isn't licenced.
