So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

I’m confused by the whole Gary situation. The way they were talking about the holiday in the salon with Maria probably means it won’t happen now kit is out to destroy Gary.

Carla's brother Rob was in jail (for killing Tina was it?) and he had a fling with a prison guard played by Karen out of Shameless. Then a few months ago, a woman turned up claiming to be this prison guard's mum, and dumped a baby on Lisa and Carla saying it's Rob's baby with her daughter (the prison guard,) and she can't cope or something.

IIRC the woman playing the gran didn't say anything, she was just seen briefly outside for a few seconds (no equity card maybe) and the baby - Connie - was left for a few months. Apparently granny came back a few weeks ago or something to retrieve Connie, but I think they forgot to tell us. I can't remember it anyway! 😆

Connie will probably re-appear in about 13 years as a wayward teen! 🙄

I had to look up why Tracy was in prison and how she got out on a technicality! I was surprised as it was murder.

I really really hope Gary plays Kit , gives him the wrong pipe and Kit who is a very bent copper gets taken down

When Tracy was talking to Maria about her experience in prison I was surprised that Maria didn't talk about hers in return. She went down for faking a marriage to a foreigner to get him British citizenship if I remember correctly.

I’m team #Garreh too. I want him to go on holiday and put two fingers up to Kit on his way to the airport.!
He helped a friend out and nobody is bothered about Theo. Todd made some money out of it and isn’t now being beaten up daily and nobody seems to miss him from his own family.
It’s gone quiet again with the gun and that woman who wanted it back! What did Jodie do with it ?

Yes indeed. It looked cool and calming. I cannot remember the last proper rain we had, but I think it was some time in June.

We don’t know! He survived the attack by Becky and was conscious, starting rehab, physio etc. in Weatherfield General. We saw Kit visit him there a couple of times trying to get some answers. But then nothing! Assume he’s been medically retired and in a rest home for beaten up corrupt police officers 🤷‍♀️

But Gary didn't help Sarah, he should have made her ring the police.

She could have easily pleaded self defence, Kit was right.

I didn't understand about Gary but Kit explained it last night. Gary admits Sarah was in a state, he told her to go and disposed of the evidence. Gary is the one who can speak about Sarah saying it was self defence. Downside Gary does time for hiding the evidence, I suppose that's something like perverting the course of justice.

Yeh I get that, and kit traced his phone to a place where its likely that he disposed of the murder weapon, so if kit recovers it he can use it against Gary, but Gary can just put it (the murder weapon) somewhere else, then Kit has nothing on him?

Unless they prove Gary coerced her into not confessing it does not make sense. It would be a hard point to prove as Gary would not have a motive. It is obvious he was just a friend who was called up to help.

Plus they would have to get Sarah to turn on Gary
