So, Sarah's been arrested for killing Theo, Kit is trying to get her out of prison without implicating himself, (and is desperate to pin it on Gary,) and Gary and Maria are at loggerheads after Gary decided to help Sarah cover her tracks!

Swain is as useless as ever, constantly talking very loudly about any case she's working on, and in front of as many people as possible!

Betsy has had a stroke, after engaging in non-fatal strangulation during sex with Dylan, and Dylan's in trouble for it, even though Betsy doesn't blame him. Sean (his dad) is trying to blame anyone but him, even Brodie!

Most other storylines/characters seem to be fairly quiet at the moment, but I'm sure they will touch on them again soon...

He said it was a new job he'd applied for so unless he's rejoining it doesn't sound likely.

Ah that makes sense if Cassie wanted him to fail the drug test for the new job. He had been going on about it a lot. God help us if he gets a job at the prison- it means he and the set might be around for a while!

He got the new job really quickly! Was he a prison officer before ? Surely they do loads of checks.

Ross is the new Theo. New character, came out of nowhere, giving the illusion that he is a nice guy to those round about but immediately showing his true colours to those he doesn't like. Yet more bloody criminality for The Bill wannabe scriptwriters to play with 😴

I don't suppose Ross expected the smoothie to be dangerous, just enough drugs in it to fail the work test, and he wouldn't know about Tracey's kidney, though I don't imagine he cares much anyway. I wonder if Tracey will need a new transplant? More likely she will just get her stomach pumped.
Any theories about Asha's new girlfriend? I reckon she has dc and doesn't want to mention it yet, but it could anything.

Roys a good egg isn’t he helping with Betsy. I find his friendship with Carla rather nice.

It'll be interesting to see what care package has been put in place for Betsy when she gets home.

When Betsy gets home, how will it work because I’m guessing she won’t be able to manage the stairs so will she need a commode? I don’t think they have a downstairs bathroom or bedroom

I am sure there is an extension or conservatory thing at the back of the house. It did when it was Yazmeen’s house.

ive just seen my friend who is an extra on Corrie and they’ve just asked him to be in some prison scenes. He usually tells me about scenes he’s filmed 6-8 weeks before they appear on tv, so sounds like we’re in for the prison set for a good few months!

Prison scenes. Will Ross be on the same wing as Sarah ? If so, seems his hanging around then.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I don’t think Corrie has had a child kidnapping ?? Obvs Im not referring to the numerous kids who have been kidnapped and taken ‘upstairs’ never to be seen again ! I’m thinking there might be one soon with Jodie snatching Arpur who is on serious meds and will be taken without them!

Jodie was acting sry twitchy when Shona picked her baby up - as though it was her baby, didn’t you think?

It is so unbelievable that David and Shona would have Jodie staying with them, let alone babysitting Harper, with everything she has done. Were not talking about one small indiscretion. She's an absolute fruit loop who has tried to seduce David, brought a gun into the house and tried to kill Sarah over the trinket box. I'm losing all sympathy for the Platts as Jodie is one massive red flag and they just dismiss everything she's done with "oh but she's Shona's sister and has nowhere else to go" 🙄

I’m shocked too that David snd Shona would want her to stay with them especially after the gun incident.
