So finally the Megan/Will storyline is coming to an end! Sam is still not well though, poor lad...

Connor-Swain and Fit Kit are busy trying to find Theo's killer, and everyone Todd is close to is taking it in turns to babysit him!

Tim is trying to come to terms with the realisation that the thing he had with an older woman (Trisha) 40 years ago, (when he was 14) was actually abuse...

Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

I know there's probably more...

That whole scene with Brodeh and those lads seemed a bit pointless. I wonder if it's the beginning of another 'bad lads' saga. 🙄

Glad the Kev/Carl/Ronnie argument is coming to a close. But now Carl has decided to turn over a new leaf and has put the gun back, Jodie has gone and nicked it! I wish she would turn it on herself ... LOL did I say that out loud?!

The scenes with Sarah and Todd were nice.

Had to laugh at Tyrone saying 'I've got 3 kids at home!' when Carl was holding them 'hostage.' We only ever see one. (Hope.) I think I've seen Dorin 3-4 times this year, and I don't think I've seen Ruby at all this year. Where is she?! And yes, where is Abi???

Betsy getting into the 'London College Of Fashion' ??? I don't think I've ever heard her express an interest in 'fashion.'

Hmmm, I was also a bit at the scene where Debbie pretended she was seriously ill/didn't recognise anyone (in last night's episode,) and said 'ha ha ha fooled ya!' And in tonight's they did a similar thing with Sam.. 'What's my name?' he asked Nick as he was about to fill in an application form... 'Ha ha, only joking!' This ribbing of mental health and brain illnesses/disorders is a bit off.

I think Sam is doing what Sarah Connor did in Terminator 2, pretending to be better so he can get out. (Although Sarah was actually OK, they just didn't think she was because she kept going on about cyborgs taking over the earth!)

The drawings Sam has done freaked me out. They were good though!

Angry Debbie 'get out of my sight, the pair of you!' made me laugh. Reminded me of my mum when she was pissed off with me and my brother when we were fighting, or pissing about! 😆

Why would Jodie steal the gun? That’s weird but then again, everything she has done since she arrived has been weird

I thought about why not a girly few days in Blackpool as well, more believable, but Corrie obviously have budget constraints (or can't be arsed). Everything has to happen on the Street or very near and preferably in daylight! The girly break was pathetic imo, everyone trying too hard to make it funny. I long for the days of Corrie's subtle, gentle humour, long gone I'm afraid.

It felt like rinse and repeat after the hen do, they could find other ways of deepening that friendship group that go beyond the cliches of girly nights

I agree that they could have gone for a few days to a local place. So many of them to keep an eye on her and so on. I did like how they got rid of those boys , didn’t seem scared by them. I would have been , but maybe safety in numbers there !

I did think Bernie looked good with a proper pony tail instead of a shower thing on her head.

Kit wanting to propose to Sarah was a bit of a surprise, I have to say. He's a really good detective, isn't he. Must be from the same school of detectiving as Swain.

Gary and Sarah know who murdered Theo, I think they're protecting someone, a youngster perhaps. Miles?

It's got to the stage now where I don't care who killed Theo and I care even less about Jodie and her "secret". It's beyond boring now so I think I'll give it a miss for a few months. It'll probably still be dragging on come Christmas.

I was watching one of those police investigation documentaries last night. Hull police were investigating the murder of a drug addict in a flat. Even though they had CCTV and eye witness accounts, there was still a team of at least 20 officers, plus forensic teams and specialist phone investigators. This was all led by a detective superintend and DI with experienced sergeants leading sub teams.

Meanwhile, back at Weatherfield, we just have Swain and Kit (when he’s not seconded to Wales) “detecting” Theo’s murder. Ridiculous.
