So finally the Megan/Will storyline is coming to an end! Sam is still not well though, poor lad...

Connor-Swain and Fit Kit are busy trying to find Theo's killer, and everyone Todd is close to is taking it in turns to babysit him!

Tim is trying to come to terms with the realisation that the thing he had with an older woman (Trisha) 40 years ago, (when he was 14) was actually abuse...

Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

Maria keeps just saying 'somethings up" to Gary when there is a dead man, her husband behaving shiftily and asking she provides a false alibi.

That is rather a lot that is up, why is she lying for him when he won't tell her the truth?

That crossed my mind too but in this case I think they were already aware of Sam’s psychosis. He ran away from Will locking himself in cafe and then there was the conversation with Carla which made it obvious. He told her he didn’t trust anyone even his dad. It was after all that the convo with Nick happened and he knew Sam needed help.

Very good point! Gary is clearly hiding something, and it's clearly involving Sarah, Maria can see that, so yes, she should refuse to provide a false alibi. Like hell would I be doing that if I was her, when Gary is keeping secrets from me, and acting so shady.

Did Gary ask Maria to provide a false alibi? I don’t remember that. I thought she presented it to him after giving alibi to police and he was really worried that she had got herself involved by giving the false alibi.

Not sure. Just trying to work out why Gary would have been there and why Sarah would be involved. The only thing I thought of was Harry. Sarah was at the Plats on the night as she had been hit on the head and was unconscious so she didn’t do it. Why would Gary then be involved with Sarah and acting suspiciously.

yes, you are right but she is still lying for him but he keeps saying " it's in your head" when she queries him about it

I am guessing that whoever did it, did it in self defence but has chosen the route of covering up and getting multiple other people involved that will only make them look more guilty

In fairness to Nick, the selective mutism that Sam suffered from after the death of his mother was something that eventually released its hold; I expect Nick was hoping that the current crisis would recede. Then it suddenly became shockingly clear to him that a professional intervention was needed.

Schedule for the coming week - Monday & Tuesday 9pm for an hour and Friday 8:30 for half hour. No episodes Wednesday or Thursday.
