Ooh, we used to have swede and potatoes mashed together in Wales, called "potch".
Tongue - not at all keen.

Oh, god, I hate being reminded that tongue looks like a tongue. I used to eat it on my sandwiches for school so, presumably, it was cheap.

Just tuned in with my Marmite toast to be told that tongue is 'divisive'.

I’m sitting here wondering if I can elevate a massive plate of air-fryered breaded chicken bits, as a fuse went in the kitchen some time on Friday and none of the other people who use it thought to identify the faulty item and unplug it so they could at least get the fridge-freezer working again…

We went to the pub today and DH had a pie made of concrete. I did suggest he told them it was not him'on a plate' , had a poor 'mouth feel' and wasn't 'eating well'.He settled for 'it's disgusting'.
