Can't believe we're on a new thread already. Filling up so fast these days!

Brief summary:

Todd has finally left the dreadful Theo, (after he badly beat up Todd,) but Theo is not keen on leaving him alone (although he has been told to by the police.)

Carla and Lisa (Swain) are planning on getting married very shortly.

Carl has been trying to extort money out of Summer for information, as he knows Theo killed Billy. (Summer knows this now too as Theo cornered her in the shop and told her as much, threatening to 'bury her too.') Summer is - very sensibly - not giving Carl a penny until Theo is arrested!

The ghastly Megan (Trainer) seems to have vanished, so Sam is relatively safe for now, but Sam has been having hallucinations and keeps seeing Will there - coming at him - when Will is nowhere near. Toyah, Leanne, and Eva have tricked Megan into meeting her (by sending a text from the burner phone Megan gave Will, and pretending to be Will...) Not sure what they're going to do when they meet her!

Ben Driscoll has just found out the man he knew as dad is not his bio father, and Jim McDonald is actually his father (so he is.)

The effervescent Debbie is declining a little bit more by the week, but is still in fighting spirit, and is seeing Carl for the parasite he really is. The gorgeous Ronnie is always by her side. Carl has just decided to cause a flood in Debbie's hotel by leaving the taps running in one of the rooms, after she told him he was very difficult to love, and refused to let him have half the hotel after he threatened to report Ronnie to the police for hitting him.

Shona's annoying sister Jodie is causing trouble all over the place! She's stolen Lisa's police badge, and a girl she uses to be a nanny for has turned up. Jodie is not happy about this!

Probably a bit more is happening, but I'm sure it will come up soon.

Now we know why the Trisha story was introduced last year for Tim!

In the true crime docs I have watched (eg 24-hrs in police custody etc.), a whole murder investigation team is set up (with sparkling code name). Not just 2 x local inept detectives discussing “may be’s” over coffee perched on a desk or over a beer/wine in a booth at pub!

And crazy Jodie is getting get into Daniel's head now! And if Jodie has no actual place of abode, where is all her stuff, her clothes, her possessions? How is she living/buying anything? She has been doing bits here and there but she not for some weeks, and she can't have earned more than a few bob! £127 in her bank account was it?! I really dislike Jodie. Her face really annoys me so much LOL! 😆Seems to be a permanent 'bad smell under her nose' look! (Combined with a sneer!)

YES to Tim! Great bloke. And he got through to Will finally! Thank God Will has gone to the police now.

Tim got through to Will remarkably easily imo.

I got quite teary when Will walked into the police station and his family were waiting for him.

I’m glad the Will/Megan storyline has come to an end ( hopefully ) I know it’s an important issue but I’ve found it very dull.
So Daniel is all set for another relationship with someone completely unsuitable. He’s consistent I’ll give him that.

Will looked really young last night. But it seems like his only costume is school uniform!

Is Sam still taking drugs? I guess he must be, but we haven’t seen it. He must have bought a lot.

I don’t like Jodie or Daniel much. They deserve each other! Maybe they will run off to live in the Lake District together

@Gingercar I am really chuffed that Tim made Will see the light, but it did all seem a bit sudden seeing as how Will was soooo obsessed with her/in love with her etc, and denied she had done anything, and it was him who had a crush on her....

I suppose something was going to make Will see the light eventually. It did seem a bit sudden though.

I thought it was quite remarkable that the conversation has made Tim see that him having sex with Trisha when he was 14 and she was 30-ish is abuse now. Why has it taken 40 years for him to realise that I wonder? He must have known at some point (in the past 40 years) that what she did was wrong. (Not sure if she was 30, and I don't think they've said her age, but she looks about 13-14 years older than Tim, so I'm kind of guessing a bit.) She was an adult at the time though, and he was a child.

Jodie is an experienced live in nanny which is helpful to Daniel. She can work in Roys while berties at school.

Oh @Gingercar I don't know what happened to the lad who had downs syndrome. I don't know why or how he came into it (like, where he came from,) and I'm not sure why he's left. No-one ever mentions him. Like no-one ever mentions that son of Rob's. (Carla's brother's son, played by that lad off Britains Got Talent - Jack something.....)

I didn’t understand how Tim made Will have such a sudden change of heart. I think it would’ve been more realistic if he’d got to the airport to find that Megan had scarpered with the two grand. Then he’d have reported her in anger.

Also, how does Daniel keep bagging all these pretty women? He’s the most ordinary man ever - boring and not outstandingly attractive.
