I think this woman needs her to realise her star has fallen like a lot of minor celebs. She has had a good run and everything has did was tired. New cookery blood should be allowed a chance.

I thinks it's undignified to start accusing her erstwhile employers of racism.

It's so exclusive though a faith based cook book? We don't have Christian cook books as it would be non sensicle.

Also food is based on place and culture. For instance Lebanese cooking will be practised by both Christians and Muslims as both exist in that country. Similarly in Israel you have both Jews and Muslims so in reality food will be fairly similar.

A faith based cook book is an own goal.

There are plenty of Christian cook books biblical cook books etc

How many are attached to celebrities? Not many. There are loads of cookbooks, attached to ' niche' audiences that are marketed as such so the expectations are far lower. There are loads of ME cookbooks. Hers was marketed as a book for Ramadan. She would have had higher expectations because of her profile and maybe a bigger advance, but didn't meet them. No one is forced to buy her cookbook. Not enough people did.

I had never heard of this. I just googled, and my favourite title as yet, is ‘What would Jesus eat?’

Some of them may be just a collection of recipes from church organisations/parishoners. Maybe sometimes to raise funds. Not specifically ‘Christian’ food (is there such a thing?). Food which everyone eats, not just regular churchgoers.

I looked that book up on Amazon ( not to buy!)
One of the reviews said ' He must have been fit with all that walking! ( Apt for Lent!)

'What would Jesus eat' comes from a widespread Evangelical phrase 'What would Jesus do?' Often abbreviated to WWJD

I stayed with some missionaries once and they had 'What would Jesus do' cutlery. Personally I don't think Jesus would have set up a merch shop but that's just me.
