Even Victorian governess Caroline had them.

I missed hers!
It's what Jane Eyre needed

It’s a sweet version of a steak bake.

Yay 🙌🙌🙌

burblish · 04/03/2026 21:33

Matthew explaining that they're looking for layers of puff pastry, cream and poached fruit. Poor Seb is looking at him like, "Yes, that's what I have done?"

I dont have the daft floppy hair!!

Mind you I do feel chefs should remove or cover their piercings when in the kitchen. That's how I was taught

'Xactly-elf and safety and all that.

viques · 04/03/2026 21:33

Poor Seb. I think if I did a test like this I would just keep walking……

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 21:33

Another travelling private chef

Well yes, but more the balls on these things can be tiny when detached from the bar. Imagine that in someone's dinner!!

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 04/03/2026 21:34

Another ficking private chef. He looks like an advert for British beef.

TheDogsMother · 04/03/2026 21:34

Could be a forager

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 21:34

Matthew doesn't seem to have tattoos but now we've found out he's a sweary geezer on some podcast he might have a giant Tony Tiger right across his back.

Halsall · 04/03/2026 21:34

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 21:32

Yes, she's got an extract of Ruskin's 'Sesame and Lilies' tattooed on one ankle. That, and a cute dolphin.

And any rings as well, you can fail your Level 1 online food handling test first time if you don’t spot the ring ,speaking for a friend.

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 21:35

Prawn and banana curry? Is his mum Wendy Craig in Butterflies?

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 21:36

My mum did a banana wrapped in ham in a cheese sauce and there was leeks popped in somewhere

she never lived that down

Could be a wanker.

viques · 04/03/2026 21:38

Doesn’t quite look like that wanky posh food he was cooking in his intro!!!!!

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 21:38

Why didn’t he use the rack for the pastry after they all told him where it was? I missed the next bit

Yep, not sure what went wrong there.
Never know what happens with the editing.

Good job Jacobean Assassin wasn't told to 'use the rack.' Someone could have ended up 2ft taller with no joints left.

😂😂😂

viques · 04/03/2026 21:42

There is something very disconcerting about the Italian chef whose name I have already forgotten. I have realised it is because his rather short upper lip makes it look as though he has a moustache waterfall pouring out of his nostrils.

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 21:43

That pickled squash looked like American plastic cheese to me

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 21:43

Goodness, Gareth's girlfriend really had to dig deep to answer that 'What's the most memorable thing about me?' question, didn't she?

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 04/03/2026 21:44

Seb fits in with the Jacobean theme, he could be the charming Spanish privateer who betrays the hero but meets a sticky end.

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 21:45

I love peas and bacon and lettuce. But not wrapped
