Switching over from the GBM.

Because it was dry, sunny and not completely arctic today I went a bit OTT and bought a pomelo and a papaya. I have no idea what to do with them.

Sounds like something south East Asian

or paw paw is just lovely with lime juice for breakfast

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2026 20:04

Omg her house

It’s all go tonight on the food front

It is isn’t it, I will have to eat earlier on Tuesdays otherwise I will be lured into diving into my spice cupboard , over seasoning and getting jiggy with micro herbs.

Sunbird24 · 24/02/2026 20:05

Them’s some fab prawns

IKR?!
Looks like a hotel - all those bottles!

Davros · 24/02/2026 20:05

I’m away for a few days so will miss watching with you all. I agree about Matt (who I like) being totally superfluous

ilovesooty · 24/02/2026 20:05

Oh. More Asian cookery. All very well but I don't think it tests basic skills.

Halsall · 24/02/2026 20:06

Travelling ✔️
Big prawns ✔️
Jaggery ✔️

All a bit so-so tbh….

A supper club in my family home would be really intimate. I can just about open the fridge door without it hitting the kitchen table.

Sunbird24 · 24/02/2026 20:06

Matt in another of Jonty’s jackets. Beeb saving on wardrobe costs?

I was just thinking that. Looks like they dragged it out of a bin bag and didn't even give it an iron.

Mine would have the cat and the toddlers throwen food everywhere

really need a dog to clean the floor

Is it my imagination or is Matt being a bit….flirty with Nikita? 💕

Life is too short for home made prawn toasts.

bungobungobungo · 24/02/2026 20:08

I’d love to know how much it is to attend her intimate supper club.

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2026 20:09

Why is Matt wearing an janitors old discarded jacket

Posh forager.

bungobungobungo · 24/02/2026 20:10

You can get apple and pears in England. We have Brogdale just up the road!

I've made them a couple of times.
They were better than bought, but better enough to always make them...?

I just had a diversion down Xsose’s offerings. He offers four or five course menus , starting at about £140 pp. Minimum six people.

Bit pointless when that tatty jacket probably still whiffs of Jonty's stale High Karate.

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2026 20:10

Wow amazing 🤮
