Thought I'd kick it off so we have a new thread for the final leg

you will, it's coming to c4 this year. and you will worship me as a goddess for having instructed you to watch it.

I only remember that I liked Doctor Who and used to watch it. I remember that I liked Ace (think I'm probably like her in a way) and a few random bits of episodes. I think I must be younger than a lot of older fans.

Interesting about the Master, wasn't that how he got the paramedic in the film?

Joining the saddoes club here - actually it 1976 (Deadly Assassin) when the 'running out of lives' thing was first mentioned.

How about Dennis Waterman? He could write and sing the theme tune too.

rofl at Dennis Waterman. Come on then, let's hear the theme tune as done by him.

Trouble with Sean Bean is, he's a bit too good looking for the eccentric/grumpy doctor characterisation, and (dare I say it) slightly too mature for the doctor as sex god characterisation.

On the other hand, it might prompt a different persona than my rather limited palette, which can only be a good thing.

So I'm going to have to make some room in my TV life, then, Aitch? What shall I dump, do you think - the Apprentice, or House?
