Welcome to Thread 5 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)

Candidates for murder in Episode 6: Ellie, Faraaz, Jade, Matthew, Reece and Sam (Amanda was also a potential but was banished beforehand and Fiona and Stephen cannot be murdered).

The floor is yours…

There are 13 players left. Assuming that only 5 make it to the final, and there is no murder on the penultimate night (both of which have always been the case before), the Traitors need to commit 3 more murders. I wonder how that will fit with any recruitment?

Women in their 70s and older can also have great skin. I'm lucky enough to have great skin, it doesn't make me go around telling everyone I'm over a decade younger 😂

I'm in that age bracket and I'm not that lucky! Things deteriorated rapidly over the last 5 years and I'd love to have glowing skin. It's very disheartening.

BoxingHare · 09/01/2026 21:52

I was looking at Fiona and thinking, is this woman only five years older than me????

If you saw us together you'd think I was her daughter.

We were saying this. I'm 62 but she could easily pass as my mum.

helplessbanana · 09/01/2026 22:05

dapsnotplimsolls · 09/01/2026 20:30

She keeps falling over, it's annoying!

I don't think she's doing it on purpose. She reminds me slightly of Rosie Jones.

Thank you!! Feel exactly the same.

You can find Fiona's job information on Google, her email and direct phone line! The local authority should really sort that

You could find mine at my old job, it's pretty common for public above a certain grade unfortunately.

But then I never made an arse of myself on telly, so it was fine.

needmorebooks · 09/01/2026 22:07

Fandangoes · 09/01/2026 21:42

Completely off topic but does anyone else think that Claudia’s makeup is completely the wrong colour?! Or is it my telly? 😂 although everyone else looks ok

I realise it’s her choice but I think she’d look stunning, like a British Eva Green, if she kept her fair skin.

Delphiniumandlupins · 09/01/2026 22:08

I wish Fiona had been a bit more honest on Uncloaked.

  1. She voted for Sam at the RT because she thought he would get more votes than Rachel (and hoped he would get more votes than her).
  2. She had no idea Amanda was a former Met detective. She may have believed Amanda had confided in Rachel but was pissed off by her announcement.

Stephen actually played really well tonight I thought. Redirected Jessie by agreeing with her. Then left Fiona on everyone's radar at the end of the RT.

PJPatrol · 09/01/2026 22:08

I also had assumed that Fiona voted for Sam because it might sway the votes to him as it was looking like being an even split between the two of them. Perhaps she did but lied about her reasoning?
Incidentally I'm surprised Amanda did not do this yesterday and vote for Reece. She took must have known that her and Reece would receive the most votes. Doing this would have prevented the tie break second vote. Instead she wasted her vote on Jade. Again.

Pancakeorcrepe · 09/01/2026 22:09

What was Fiona’s burner phone story?

MajesticWhine · 09/01/2026 22:10

Rachel needs to murder Harriet soonish to give herself a chance.

Boolabus · 09/01/2026 22:10

helplessbanana · 09/01/2026 22:05

Yes I did wonder had she mild cerebral palsy, it did look like that when she kept falling over.

I think Fiona made a right tit of herself on uncloaked especially with her obviously made up burner phone story, was cringing for her

I think both Reece and Amanda were playing for the Faithful and neither turned on the other, even when down to their last speech.

Very good point!

needmorebooks · 09/01/2026 22:14

Does anyone feel for Sam? I wasn’t too fussed at the start but him not getting picked, the shield on fire and then the arrogant question in the mirror. I feel for him. Those questions about being bland and arrogant were mean-spirited.

I just think if she was that concerned about safety, that she went to great lengths to get a burner phone, then she would have asked for her details to be removed temporarily, until the negative publicity dies down, especially as she knew what was going to be broadcast. I know she is completely clueless and believes her own lies, but surely she knows there's some unhinged people out there, possibly more unhinged than her

BoxingHare · 09/01/2026 22:15

I want the traitors to say yes to Matthew, try to murder Jessie but she has a shield, then not have the opportunity to recruit.

Matthew might think they've double crossed him! 😊

cariadlet · 09/01/2026 22:15

Pancakeorcrepe · 09/01/2026 22:09

What was Fiona’s burner phone story?

I'd like to know this too. I watched the main episode and mos of Uncloaked but my partner came home just as Fiona started wittering on about social media and burner phones.

I could rewatch on IPlayer but would really prefer to not have to.

TheGreenBow · 09/01/2026 22:16

I couldn’t tell if anything she said on Uncloaked was true. She said she knew Amanda had told her that but it didn’t seem that way on the actual show.

Someone mentioned the other letter and the suggestion has been from a few of us that it tells of other links between players still in the show but not yet revealed. As the first time a second letter was opened was to tell of the Roxy and Judy link.

And it looked like he'd outgrown his trousers too.

I thought maybe he had put on another interchangeable's clothes by mistake

😬😬😬 definitely, although she’s definitely small town famous so will be fine

Delphiniumandlupins · 09/01/2026 22:16

I wondered if the 3 who get to question the Traitors might share with others what they find out. Which would be tricky for Rachel. But Matthew obviously isn't going to and Harriet seemed to suggest she would be keeping schtum.

True. We did have a colleague who got hers removed due to a stalker.

I've turned off Uncloaked, I can't bear her and her women of a certain age bollocks 🙄

I'm of a certain age and I don't want people to think of me they way they think of her!

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 09/01/2026 22:18

Are Rachel and Mathew a couple? The manner in how they talk, not just the accent, is so similar. Both calm, both good jobs etc
