3 candidates for face-to-face murder tonight - Maz, Reece and Sam. Who will it be?

I think it was ten years since Ross and Netty saw each other, not fifteen.
Although if it is just a friendship it seems a bit tenuous as a link.

Why was the scoop with Ross and Nettie friends or fling? poor Nettie neve even got started bing first out

If Maz is ex-police, he will have guessed about Amanda in no time flat.

I don't understand why the faithful thought it was dodgy that Ross and Nettie knew each other. If they knew each other were going to be there, they would just pretended not to know each other.

Yeah I think there’s a big storyline and point of tension each week. I don’t think the ST was ever planned to be long term. All edited and planned round a big Friday cliff hanger for us to spend the weekend talking about and the Sunday newspaper op eds and morning chat shows to ruminate over. It’s a big engine of content - as these threads show!

This is from Amanda’s bit on the BBC page about the contestants, so I think she’s from somewhere considerably north of Brighton:

Since my dad passed away a couple of years ago, my mum's on her own and I live so far away. My sisters are amazing, caring for her and always being there. So I'd love to take them all on holiday, somewhere really, really nice.

Maybe she’s from Sheffield and Reece is her nephew?

I have a theory about the secret relationships - it could be that all the players have a connection with another (not including Ross and Netty, which could well have been a genuine coincidence... it happens, we've run into acquaintances by chance on the other side of the world! And anyway, Ross is already paired up with Elllie...) It's reasonable to assume that two players who already know one other are already at an advantage - regardless of whether or not the relationship is made known to the others - as they could easily work out codes in advance, protect one another througout the game and share the prize if either of them wins. Taking this a step further, the producers may have decided to make this fair for all the players and recruited 11 pairs who are all related in some way. Otherwise, what is the significance of the prominent family tree picture and constant shots of the "Who's Who" volume in the library, as well as the Latin inscription about your nearest and dearest being your enemies? 🤔

Updating my plot forwcast

Week 1 - who’s the ST
Week 2 - who will win Rachel vs Fiona, I don’t think both of them will last to next Wednesday
Week 3 - finally find out about who’s who, connections and family tree. It will be an anti climax
Week 4 - finale
Week 5 - why didn’t they make this five weeks to cover five weeks of January ☹️

Maybe Amanda was shown leading Faraaz into the billiard room for no real reason because she does stuff like that to all the interchangeables so no one bats an eyelid when they see her chatting alone to her possible relative Reece regularly? They all just think ‘that’s just Amanda and another interchangeable’.

Maybe later on Amanda and Maz will recognize they are both ex police and team up for some PROPER detective work. I think Maz will be the one to ask Amanda if she is ex police.

The world of barristers is not huge. There is every chance Harriet and Hugo knew exactly who each other are by middle age in the business.

I hope it isn't Reece that is murdered, but I feel he's been featured quite heavily lately so it could be, though I am leaning more towards them picking Sam to take the heat off Stephen.
I agree that the constant secret relationships are annoying,not once has it ever really been used to anyone's advantage (Uk)and I think we find out to late(once one of the pair as been banished/murdered) what is the point then?????
On a different country Traitors a relationship was revealed that I wasn't expecting and the pair could and did work together-it was fun to watch..but nothing on our version as been the same, not even Diane and Ross, who people made a big fuss over.
I am also a Wilf fan and was gutted he lost, the only upside to that was the young guy won with the other two faithful(i liked him, wasn't assed about the other two nitwits)
Loved the fact Harry won and was hoping one of the traitors would have won last series instead of Jake and leanne, so yep, I root for the Traitors.
On this series I like Stephan.
I am leaning toward Amanda and Reece being mother and son

If the Traitors murder Maz, it undermines Stephens theory - he's been telling everyone Maz was last in the room.

I hope it’s not Maz, poor guy can’t catch a break with these shortlists. Reece makes most sense to me.
