@AlicePottery I noticed that with the carving tools, probably would have been fairer to supply them all.

The illness gave them the excuse they needed, I wonder if they would have done it otherwise? A brutal double exit next week then.

I think when the brief makes it virtually impossible to do something amazing then that's the week they can not eliminate anyone (plus the illness making it an even more reasonable choice).

It was a bit dull tonight.

What worries me about that is - when someone makes a big deal out of doing this for Granny or whoever and then comes last, do they then go away feeling awful that they let Granny down?

I wondered about that. When Naveed said he was going to water it down, I remembered what they said about problems with the clay getting too wet and thought it was going to be disastrous, but actually it turned out to be the best idea.
